Hey everyone, I'm in the process of setting up my workstation and could use some guidance. Here’s what I currently have: 34" curved Dell monitor 2x 27" HP monitors Dell work laptop (with only 1 HDMI port) Custom-built desktop (personal) My goal is to use a single keyboard and mouse for both systems, and more importantly, have flexibility with how I use the monitors. For example: Use two monitors with the desktop and one with the laptop Or use all three monitors with just the laptop Or quickly switch between systems without plugging/unplugging cables constantly I've looked into KVM switches, but most seem to require multiple HDMI outputs from each machine, which is a problem since my work laptop only has one HDMI port. Is there a better solution for this kind of setup? Maybe a USB-C dock, software KVM, or something else I’m overlooking? Any suggestions or setups you’ve used would be greatly appreciated!
