Why is finding a decent chair harder than choosing a GPU? I’ve finally upgraded my entire setup for both remote work and gaming. New ultrawide, standing desk, monitor arm, wireless everything. Only thing left… the chair. Right now I’m using this weird hybrid dining chair I grabbed from my kitchen when I first went remote, and it’s honestly been a mistake. 8+ hours of work plus a few hours of gaming at night and I feel like I’m aging in dog years. I’ve seen a lot of love for Secretlab and Herman Miller, but I’m also noticing some newer names popping up. One that caught my eye while browsing was Blacklyte. The design looks pretty clean, sort of a hybrid between an office chair and a gaming chair. Hard to tell if it's a legit contender or just another rebrand, so if anyone's tried it, I’d be curious to hear your thoughts. That aside, if anyone’s found a chair that works for both work and play without destroying posture, please drop your recs. Budget's around $400–500. https://preview.redd.it/4112321jmiwf1.jpg?width=573&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d49ebce9bf727fed176c81f7ebed5fbd41084aba submitted by /u/JenniferDebonair to r/workstations
