The skies you so hold dear, have fleeted. The souvenirs written on your skin are evanescent. You will weep for the crushed wings, but the pain won't bring back the lost pulses. The prowess of living, though obscure, obligates a slice of your suffering. It asks that you lose. It quests for sacrifice.

I see you with my eyes shut, so I know where I go when my pupils are overwhelmed.
But where does the world go, when the stars and the lights go out and the sounds go to sleep?
I feel you when my body's numb, so I know how it feels to be out of this world.
But my, sun, did the sea die when you were born,
To sink everytime I try not to melt.

We missed it on
the first dream out.
I crashed on those lips
And my, it felt like
hearts were triggered,
Like stars had collided,
And the world turned to night.
When I opened my eyes,
I figured she had gone
through the same fire.
And nothing was ever
as beautiful, to steal
one thing at the same time,
to want the same stars
in an immense galaxy;
to be so burnt pleasantly.
