EGYPT 🇪🇬 Someone tells Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni that she looks great. Turkish President Recep Erdoğan chimes in: "…but I have to get you to stop smoking."
I want to start by emphasizing that this message is not an attack on anyone I'm genuinely appreciative of the incredible work many of you are doing in our groups.
You're helping people in meaningful ways, with some producing exceptional content like writing and more. That said, I need to address an issue firmly and directly to maintain the integrity of our chats.
I've recently discovered that some members with their own brands of exposure efforts are using bots knowingly or unknowingly that link to their profiles or channels in our discussions. For example, EKO whom I absolutely adore replied to me with a formatted post (embedded link) linking to a ToreSays scam bot which didn’t have a username to link to, instead of simply using @ToreSays to reply to me. I saw many liked his reply and didn’t address that.
Similarly, Squirrel Team channel has a bot linked to its channel called "Channel Bot" that I saw edited one of its posts in actions and Telegram itself has marked that bot as a scam. When Squirrel team posts in my chat spam bot posts follow underneath.
Similarly when this occurs I have seen admins talk around those bot posts instead of removing them which also needs to be addressed.
In my OSINT group a bot called Group Anonymous bot and other variations of it, keeps attaching itself to all of my admins in that group, those admins have been actively seen
trying to ban those bots when this occurs. Those bots have been traced back to psychological operations. I don't want to start banning good people for using what Telegram considers malicious bots knowingly or unknowingly that could mine data or worse and allow other bots to enter chats as a result. However, I need EKO and Squirrel Team to fix this immediately among others out there. Whether it's happening knowingly or unknowingly. I will protect the integrity of my chats and their members at all costs. Even if anyone has signed NDAs for psychological operations, I don't care I do not want this occurring in my chats.
I notice everything and track everything, including under-the-radar personas, profile IDs, and more. Even when my honeypot admins are targeted. I can spot when someone creates alternate profiles to conceal their actions. If I can see it, so can the feds. And even if these are operations from the "good" feds, I still don't want them in my chats.
Again, I truly don't want to ban people I adore, so please address this promptly to avoid that.
