كلمة “pay” تعني دفع مبلغ مالي مقابل شيء ما،

“pay off”
تعبيرًا يستخدم للإشارة إلى تسديد دين أو سداد مبلغ مالي كامل أو جزئي. فعندما تستخدم “pay off”، فإنها تشير إلى عملية تسديد دين أو تحقيق هدف مالي.

مثال:
- “I need to pay the rent by the end of the month.” (أحتاج إلى دفع الإيجار بنهاية الشهر)
- “I finally paid off my student loans.” (لقد سددت أخيرًا ديون الطالب الخاصة بي).
