❗️FINAL REMINDER❗️

IELTS Marathon (485,000 UZS) and Speaking Marathon (300,000 UZS) start tomorrow. You have until tomorrow evening to make the payment and join, which is when I will share all the Day 1 materials.

IELTS Marathon features all the materials from the Speaking Marathon, making it better value for money. The reason why the marathon is not based on live lessons is simply because there is so much to cover and I cannot deliver all of that in 2 hour live classes. Besides, it would be pretty gruesome both for me and learners to study that much in a live lesson. So short video recordings are better in that regard! This does not – in any way – take away from the quality. If anything, as far as I'm concerned, video lessons are more effective than live lessons. It's not as if you guys go a great job of attending all the live classes either, right?

Tips for CDI Writing and Listening

This is the short video lesson I promised on how to prepare for CDI.

Keybord shortcuts I talked about in the video:

Use "tab" key to quickly switch to the next question.

Use "Ctrl + Backspace" on Windows or "cmd + del" to delete entire words fast.

Bonus shortcut: "cmd/ctrl + A" to select the whole text so you can copy it or remove it. This is especially useful when you typed in the wrong word in IELTS Listening and need to change it quickly.

🌌 Space and the stars | Reddit English

This video lesson comes from my ongoing Speaking Marathon. What we do differently is work with real life practical English for common Speaking topics, rather than memorize those "Band 9.0" sample answers that sound like they've been made by a kind robot.

Try using these ideas and language in your answers and send them in the comments. ⬇️
