1. This is a synchronous (=live) comprehensive program starting on July the 7th. It features everyday lessons at 8.15pm on Zoom. Each lesson lasts up to 2 hours and will be recorded in case students can't participate.

2. Over the course of a month, we go over every single aspect of IELTS speaking necessary for helping you improve, from making your stories more dramatic in Part 2 to practicing relevant language (e.g. ability) in each part.

3. Your homework, which mainly features a lot of INPUT material, will be thoroughly checked by me.

IELTS Speaking Part 3 Language

The project will bring a lot of money. --> The project has great economic potential.

At a higher level – that is, Bands 8.0 and 9.0 – you should be able to use more appropriate language in Part 3. Unlike Part 1 and 2s, this part of the test is no longer informal and casual, hence requiring more academic language. But again, this only applies to higher level candidates, as most test takers below 8.0 will be misusing language anyways.

📊 Band 8.0-8.5, Compare chart

The bar chart compares the yield of staple grains – such as barley, wheat, rice, and others – across three different countries. Overall, the USA and China harvested significantly more crops of all types than India. It is also clear that, of all individual crop types, the yield of miscellaneous grains was highest

The USA dominated the agriculture market, rivalled by China across all product types. In particular, as much as 9 tonnes of different grains were harvested by the two countries each. However, the pattern / figures differed with individual grain types. For example, it was the USA that led in barley yields, at about 7.2 tonnes, followed by China, at about 6.5 tonnes. In contrast, China took over the third most popular grain – rice – harvesting about 6 tonnes of it, compared to 5 tonnes of the USA. Rounding out the list was wheat, a crop that the USA again harvested more of (3.5t versus 2.8t).

India’s yield was below the 2-tonne mark for all grains. While the respective figures for barley and other grains were about 1.8t and 1.9t, those for wheat and rice were even lower, at 1.2t and 1t.
