Ya Allah, do not make me fall in love with anything but You. I want to please You alone. Fill my heart with love for You, so that nothing in this world distracts me from seeking Your pleasure. Let my heart find peace in Your remembrance, and my soul be content with Your decree.

Almost forgot, you were busy, weren’t you? I can almost picture it...your life, the world you live in while I remain trapped in the quiet corners of my mind. But still, here you are, slipping into my dreams, as if the distance between us is nothing more than a shadow. It's almost as if time doesn’t matter in dreams, or maybe it does, but only in the way that makes us realize how much we’re missing. I wonder if you feel the same pull, or if I’m just the echo of a forgotten thought.

Allah'im bizi nasibimiz olmayan şeylerin peşine düsürme…

I wrote about the word saudade back in 2020. Interesting. This word popped up on my screen today. It kind of made me stop and think for a while.

Saudade… It’s more than just missing someone. Right?!

It’s like a quiet ache that lives in the background, always there, always a part of you. It’s the knowing that you can never have them, and yet, somehow, they still linger in your heart.

There’s something about it that hits differently when you realize: you’ll never get that chance.

It’s the space between what could have been and what is, and the heartache that fills that space.

Saudade is a feeling that doesn’t ask for anything in return. It simply is.

And maybe, just maybe, that’s enough.

فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلۡعُسۡرِ يُسۡرًا

Sometimes, we give certain people most of our time and thoughts, but they don’t reciprocate in the same way. It’s funny how life works like that. You try to reach out, offer your time, your energy. But some people are too busy for us, or maybe we’re just not the priority, and that’s okay (I hope I mean it ahahah). It’s just the way things go sometimes (what else we can do after all)...

P.S. I hope people saved the world with all that business, otherwise, I can’t buy the whole “too busy” excuse for 5 days

P.S.2. Statistically, a person checks their phone 80 times a day (or every 12 minutes!)… I get it, schedules can get busy, but seriously... nobody is that busy...
