The City of Brighton gave Power of Eminent Domain to a metropolitan district named Parkland Metropolitan District No. 1 at a city council meeting.

Palizzi Farm was never notified of this action and so no agent of Palizzi Farm was present. The city did this to begin the installation of an underground water drainage system to support a planned new housing development between Chambers Ave. & 19th Ave. on the south side of Bromley Lane. The city’s planned site for the system is on the land owned and operated as a non-GMO produce farm by Palizzi Farm.

WHAT CAN YOU DO TO  HELP SAVE PALIZZI FARM? Email Parkland Metro District No. 1 and let them know you want them to leave Palizzi Farm in tact, and move their drainage outfall elsewhere at [email protected]

There must be due process. There must be notification to all parties.
There must be legal, lawful , documented proof ALL parties were notified. Letters, "notices" are not proof. Process server affidavit or registered mail receipt is minimum.

AVERAGE CREDIT CARD DEBT IN U.S. NOW SOARING PAST $6,500
The U.S. national average for credit card debt has escalated to $6,555, with New Jersey residents leading the nation with an average debt of $8,155 per credit card.

Coming in at a close second is Connecticut, with an average debt of $8,011 per credit card, followed by Maryland, New York, and Alaska—all with average credit card debts of more than $7,600 per card. Rounding out the top 10 states are Colorado, California, Massachusetts, Florida, and Hawaii, all with average credit card debts in excess of $7,400.

“New Jersey residents’ debt surpasses the national average by 24 percent, while Mississippi has the lowest average credit card debt, with debtors owing just $5,186—20 percent less than the national average,” the report states.
