Some make sacrifices and live below the poverty line just to save a future they'll never see. Some are living among the very issues of today, whilst discussing them. Despite the misery and risk of various dangers, some chose such an uphill journey, a kind which offers not a seconds relief.

Others, chose a privileged, guaranteed escape, which comes at the expense of western lives, culture, morality, and reality itself.

For some of us, we'd rather plant trees to create a protective shade in which we'll not live to enjoy. While others, burn the very soil we depend on to ensure such shade ever exists.

Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-Calif., was hit by conservatives for promoting California as a "national model" for combating homelessness in a recent press conference.

In response to Newsom’s press conference where he touted steps the state has taken to address the problem, critics mocked the notion that California could ever be seen as a "national model" considering it has one of the highest homeless populations in the U.S.

"This is the height of delusion," Rep. Kevin Kiley, R-Calif., replied to a clip of Newsom’s Tuesday press conference.
