I started giving fewer fucks.
Being a software engineer comes with a certain level of introvert and unsocial qualities. We are fairly comfortable with other software engineers, but cannot easily find a common language with folks from other domains.
Being introvert and unsocial myself, one day I decided to become more comfortable around people from different domains, genders, cultures, and ethnicities. Don't get me wrong, I have no issues with introvert people. In fact I prefer introvert people to extraverts. Introverts tend to be more genuine.
It was simply this urge to feel more relaxed around anyone and feel less anxious when I say hi to homo sapiens of the opposite gender. It also meant I can tremendously grow as a software engineer and potentially work/live abroad.
Turns out that the key to a more chill Vohid is giving fewer fucks to things that don't matter much.
For example, I used to think everyone should like me because I am inherently a good person and would naturally get upset if someone showed any sign of dislike towards me.
Now I don't care as much because I realized I can't and don't need to make everyone like me. There are 8 billion of us, after all. Don't get me wrong, I show respect to everyone I encounter. I simply move on faster when I don't get along with someone or when I run into awkward situations.
Another example. When I first started writing posts on Telegram, I tried to write posts that everyone agrees with and likes. At some point, I said fuck it, I am gonna speak my mind. If I am wrong, so what? I am a human after all. I learn from the situation and move on. The same goes for my podcasts on YouTube. I said who cares if I just upload this podcast without editing.
With a head that gives fewer fucks now I can focus on things that actually matter. Now I can meet more people and establish strong connections. Now I can produce more: write more useful posts and make more interesting videos.
Have I completely mastered the art of not giving a fuck? Absolutely no, but I like the progress I’ve made.

During their visit to Germany, our students Mirvohid Azimov and Abror Musulmonov had a unique opportunity to visit the Google office located in Munich. During the excursion, they gained valuable experience during a meeting with our university graduate Rustam Zokirov and our compatriot Vohid Karimov, who both work at Google.
The visit provided the students with an opportunity not only to gain insight into the inner workings of one of the world's top technology companies, but also to be inspired by the success story of Rustam Zokirov, a graduate of Inha University Tashkent.

21-asrda har bir odamning bir nechta qurilmalari bor. Sanab chiqsam menda 10dan ko'p qurilma bor ekan. Eng ko'p update so'raydigan qurulmalarim: telefon va komputerlarim. Chunki telefon va computerda yuzlab software/applar bor. Har birini eng ohirgi versiyada ushlash uchun men ko'p vaqt ketkazar ekanman. Men yashaymanmi, yoki update qilamanmi?
Uni ustiga hozir ko'p productlar tez-tez update qilishga o'tishgan: qo'yib bersez har 3-4 haftada update qilsa.
Bugun Google menga automatic email jo'natibdi, macOS update qil deb. QILMAYMAN! Deadline'ni ohirigacha olib boraman.
