The waterfall is run by four 185-kilowatt pumps and the water is collected beforehand in a huge tank that sits on the ground. One hour of operation costs the owners about $118 so they plan to launch it only on special occasions.

Rice terraces in Mu Can Chai in northeastern Vietnam were created by people centuries ago. To allow water to run down the mountains gradually and have time to irrigate the crops, locals carved huge 'steps' into the mountains, on which rice is still grown to this day.
