We all have that one person that annoys us by sending too many forwarded messages. Well, Telegram makes it really easy to silence such a contact. Just open the chat and tap on the profile photo of the contact. This security-focused messaging app allows you to register a unique username so that people can message or add you to groups without necessarily knowing your phone number. To get started, open the Telegram app. Next, go to Settings and choose Appearance.
