Update on Bridgen v Hancock

By way of update on Mr Hancock’s appeal, Lord Shaun Bailey (who is being sued for libel by Dale Vince OBE) wrote to the Court of Appeal on 1 September 2025: – “consideration may also need to be given to the appeals being heard together”.
On 16 September 2025 Lord Justice Warby “noted the representations on behalf of Lord Bailey and directed that any response by any of the other parties to any of the three appeals should be filed by no later than 30 September 2025”.
On 18 September 2025 Mr Hancock stated that he “objects to the proposal to list his appeal (in which permission has already been granted) together with these separate proceedings, insofar as permission is granted in those proceedings. Our client is very concerned that listing the appeals together will delay both the listing and determination of his appeal, particularly in circumstances where the claim against him was issued by Mr Bridgen on 19 May 2023, well over two years ago.”
On 22 September 2025 Mr Vince contended via his legal team that “There are also specific reasons why the Hancock v Bridgen and Vince v Bailey appeals ought to be heard together. Both concern the operation of s.3(4) and s.3(5) of the Defamation Act 2013.”
On 30 September 2025 my position was advanced as follows: “In these circumstances Mr Bridgen agrees with Mr Vince regarding the specific reasons which Mr Vince advances for the Hancock v Bridgen and Vince v Bailey appeals to be heard together.”
A month on we have heard nothing from the Court of Appeal.

In 2016, journalist Del Bigtree issued a challenge to the head of infectious disease at one of the most prestigious medical institutions in the world: conduct the most thorough vaxxed vs. unvaxxed study that has ever been done. The expert took up the challenge and ran the study to prove Del wrong. That study never saw the light of day... until now. *Dr. Marcus Zervos, head of infectious disease at Henry Ford Health, led a 10-year study on 18,468 children born between 2000 and 2016, comparing health outcomes of vaccinated and unvaccinated children using medical records and Michigan’s immunization registry.
*The study found that by age 10, 57% of vaccinated children had at least one chronic health condition, compared to only 17% of unvaccinated children—a more than 2.5-fold increase in risk associated with vaccination.
Specific increased risks for vaccinated children included:
*4.29 times higher likelihood of asthma
*3.03 times higher risk for atopic diseases (e.g., eczema)
*Nearly 6 times higher risk for autoimmune disorders
*5.5 times higher risk for neurodevelopmental disorders (including 3.47 times more speech disorders and 2.28 times more developmental delays)
*2.9 times more motor disabilities
*6 times more ear infections
Notably, among nearly 2,000 unvaccinated children, there were zero cases of ADHD, diabetes, behavioural problems, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, tics, or other psychological disorders.
Despite pledging to publish the results “no matter what,” Dr. Zervos chose not to, stating on hidden camera: “Publishing something like that, I might as well retire. I’d be finished.”
