β Professor Deanna Needell was co-awarded the IMA Prize in Mathematics and Applications, an award that recognizes an individual who has made a transformative impact on the mathematical sciences and their applications.
β Professor Needell has been a mentor for several RIPS and REU summer programs at UCLA, and will be joining the faculty in our department of Mathematics this July.
