🌿ብፁዕ አባ አቡነ ተክለ ሃይማኖት ዘኤለ ገዳማተ እምኀበ እግዚኡ ይነሣእ እሴተ ቦአ ሀገረ ደብረ ሊባኖስ በፍሥሐ ወበሰላም።

⚜ሰአል ለነ ጊዮርጊስ ኀበ እግዚአብሔር ወጸሊ በእንቲአነ ሐረድዎ ወገመድዎ ወዘረዉ ሥጋሁ ከመ ሐመድ ወወሰድዎ ኀበ ሰብአ ነገሥት ረገጸ ምድረ አንሥአ ሙታነ አባ ጊዮርጊስ በሰላም ዐደወ መንግሥተ ክብር ወረሰ።

🌿ወልደ እግዚአብሔር አምላክነ ወመድኃኒነ ዕቀብ  ሕይወተነ እም ገሀነመ እሳት ወእምኵሉ መንሱት በእንተ ቅዱስ ስምከ ወበእንተ ማርያም እምከ ወበእንተ ቅዱስ መስቀል ወበእንተ ዮሐንስ ወንጌላዊ ወበእንተ ዮሐንስ መጥምቅከ ወበእንተ ኵሎሙ ቅዱሳን ወሀባ ሰላመ ለሀገሪትነ ኢትዮጵያ ወለቅድስት ቤተክርስቲያን።

⚜ሰላም ለክሙ ጻድቃን ወሰማዕት እለ አዕረፍክሙ በዛቲ ዕለት መዋዕያነ ዓለም አንትሙ በብዙኅ ትዕግሥት። ሰአሉ ቅድመ ፈጣሪ በኩሉ ሰዓት እንበለ ንስሐ ኪያነ ኢይንሣእ ሞት።

=>ሰማዕቱ የተወለደው በምድረ ግብጽ አሕዛብ (ተንባላት) በሰለጠኑበት የመጀመሪያው ዘመን ነበር:: በተለይ ተንባላቱ ግብፅና ሶርያን ከያዙ በሁዋላ ባልተጠበቀ ፍጥነት በኃይልም በሰውም ተደራጅተው ነበር:: ቅዱስ ጊዮርጊስ (ልብ በሉልኝ ሊቀ ሰማዕታት አይደለም) የተወለደው በዚህ አስቸጋሪ ጊዜ ነበር::

+እናቱ የተመሠከረላት ክርስቲያን ብትሆንም እንዳለመታደል አባቱ ተንባላታዊ (አሕዛብ) ነበር:: ስሙንም መዛሕዝም ይሉታል:: ሕጻኑ እንደተወለደ ያወጡለት ስም አሕዛባዊ ከመሆኑ ባለፈ በሰዓቱ መጠመቅ አልቻለም:: የወቅቱ ሕግ ከወላጆቹ አንዱ አሕዛባዊ ከሆነና አጠምቃለሁ ቢባል የሚከተለው ሰይፍ ነበር:: በዚሕ ምክንያት ሳይጠመቅ 7 ዓመት ሞላው::

+እናቱ ግን ሕጻን ቢሆንም ፍቅረ ክርስትናን ታስተምረው ነበር:: ባይጠመቅም ጸበሉን: እመቱን ትቀባው ነበር:: ደብቃ ቅዳሴ ታሰማውም ነበር:: አንድ ቀን ግን ሕጻናት ሲቆርቡ አይቶ ካልቆረብኩ ብሎ አለቀሰ:: ምን ታድርገው? ወደ ውጪ አውጥታ ከአውሎግያ (የሰንበት በረከት) አበላችው:: "ጌታየ! ልጄን እርዳው" አለች::

+ልክ በአፉ ሲቀምሳት መዓዛ መንፈስ ቅዱስ አደረበትና ፍጹም ተደሰተ:: ትንሽ ከፍ ሲል ለምን እንደማይጠመቅና እንደማይቆርብ እናቱን ጠየቃት:: "ልጄ ሆይ! ይገድሉሃል" አለችው::
ከዚህች ቀን ጀምሮ የሚጠመቅበትን ዘዴ ይፈልግ ጀመር::

+አስቀድሞ ትምሕርተ ክርስትናን ተማረ:: ለአካለ መጠን ሲደርስ አፈላልጐ ጠንካራ ክርስቲያን የሆነች ሴት አገባ:: ጥቂት ጊዜ ከቆየ በሁዋላ ሚስቱን ስለ መጠመቅ አማከራት:: "ሌላ ሃገር ሒደህ ተጠመቅ" አለችው:: ከግብፅ ተነስቶ ሶርያ ገባ:: አባቶችን አፈላልጎ ተጠመቀ:: ቀጥሎም መንገዱን ወደ ልዳ አደረገ::

+ወደ ደብሩ ተጠግቶ አባቶችን "ስም አውጡልኝ" ቢላቸው #መንፈስ_ቅዱስ አናግሯቸው "#ጊዮርጊስ" አሉት:: እሱም ደስ እያለው: ባጭር ታጥቆ የልዳውን ቅዱስ ጊዮርጊስ ያገለግለው ገባ:: ትንሽ ቆይቶ ሁከት መንፈሳዊ ተሰማው:: ማለትም ስለ ሃይማኖቱ ደሙን ማፍሰስ ፈለገና ወደ ግብፅ ተመለሰ::

+በዚያ ያሉ አሕዛብ በክርስትና ስም: ልብስና ሞገስ ሲመለከቱት ተበሳጩ:: ዕለቱኑ አሠሩት:: ሌሊት እናቱና ሚስቱ መጥተው አሉት:- "አደራ! ፍቅረ ዓለም እንዳያታልልህ:: ሰማዕት ብትሆን ላንተም ክብር: ለእኛም ሞገስ ነው" ብለውም አጽናኑት:: (እንዲሕ ያሉ እናትና ሚስት ማግኘትም ታላቅ እድል ነው!!!)

+ሐዲስ ጊዮርጊስም ጸና:: ከዚያች ቀን ጀምሮ ለተከታታይ ቀናት ደበደቡት: አካሉን ቆራረጡት: ደሙንም መሬት ላይ አንጠፈጠፉት:: በየመንገዱ እየጎተቱ ተሳለቁበት:: እርሱ ግን #ክርስቶስን ወዷልና ሁሉን ታገሰ:: ሌሊት በሆነ ጊዜም ጌታችን ተገልጦ "ከሰማዕታት ተቆጠርህ" አለው::

+በማግስቱ በአደባባይ አንገቱን በሰይፍ ቆረጡት:: ክፋታቸው የጸና ነውና ሥጋውን በእሳት አቃጠሉት:: ወደ ባሕርም ጣሉት:: እናቱ ከባሕር ስታወጣው ግን ምንም አላገኘውም ነበር:: በዚሕች ቀን እናቱና ሚስቱ በክብር ቀብረውታል::

✞✞✞On this day we commemorate Saint George the New Martyr✞✞✞

✞✞✞In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, one God. Amen!✞✞✞

✞✞✞Saint George (Girgis) the New Martyr ✞✞✞
=>The martyr was born in the land of Egypt in the first years when unbelievers (Muslims) held power. Particularly, the nonbelievers, after capturing Egypt and Syria were unexpectedly organized, in power and numbers. And St. George (notice that he is not the Arch-martyr) was born at that difficult time.

✞Even though his mother (Mary) was a known Christian, his father (Jumaa Al Atawy) unfortunately was a nonbeliever (a Muslim). And they named him El-Mozahem. On top of the name that they gave him after he was born being of a gentile, he was not able to be baptized as the law at that time stated that if one of the parents was a nonbeliever and the other tried to have the child baptized, the sword would follow. And because of this, he reached the age of 7 without being baptized.

✞Even though he was just a child, his mother used to teach him the love of Christ. And though he was not baptized, she would anoint him with holy water and the holy ash (from the liturgy). She would also make him listen to the liturgy in hiding. One day, he saw children partaking of the Holy Eucharist and cried, so that he could partake. What could his mother do? She took him outside and gave him from the Eulogia bread (which is distributed after the liturgy is concluded). And she prayed saying, “My Lord! Help my child.”

✞And when George tasted it, he became joyous as the tang of the Holy Spirit had dwelt in him. And when he became older, he asked his mother why he will not get baptized and partake of the Eucharist. To which she answered, “My child! They will kill you.” And starting from that day, he looked for a way he could be baptized.
 
✞First, he learned the teachings of Christianity. And when he came of age, he searched for a strong Christian girl and was married. After some time, he talked to his wife about being baptized. And she advised him, “Go to another country and get baptized.” Hence, he left Egypt and reached Syria. There, he searched for fathers and was baptized. Then, he went to Lod (Lydda).

✞When he reached the Church [of St. George the Arch-martyr at Lod] and asked the fathers woth, “Give me a name”. They called him “George”, inspired by the Holy Spirit. Then, he started readily serving St. George of Lydda.  A bit later, he was moved by the Holy Spirit and decided to shed his blood for his faith and returned to Egypt.

✞The unbelievers, who were there, when they saw him with a Christian name, clothing, and splendor, were upset. And they imprisoned him on that day. And during the night, his mother and wife came and consoled him saying, “Please! Do not be fooled by the love of the world. If you are martyred, it is an honor for you and an opulence for us.” (It is a great privilege to have such a mother and a wife!!!)

✞Hence, the New George persisted. And starting from that day and for successive days, they beat him, mutilated his body and shed his blood on the ground.  They also dragged him on the streets and ridiculed him. And because he loved Christ, he endured all. And when it was evening, our Lord appeared to him and said, “You are counted with the martyrs.”

✞And the next day, they beheaded him in public. And as their brutality was considerable, they also burned his body and threw it into a river. But when his mother found it, it was not corrupted in any way. And on this day, his mother and his wife buried him in honor.

✞✞✞May the Good God grant us from the martyr’s persistence, patience, grace, and blessing.

†††✝በስመ አብ ወወልድ ወመንፈስ ቅዱስ አሐዱ አምላክ አሜን!✝

††† ✝በዓለ ሕንጸታ✝ †††

††† በዚሕች ቀን : በሐዲስ ኪዳን የመጀመሪያዋ ቤተ ክርስቲያን በአምላክ እናት ስም ታንጻለች::
ጥንተ ነገሩስ እንደ ምን ነው ቢሉ:-
ለስም አጠራሩ ጌትነት ይሁንና አምላካችን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ደቀ መዛሙርቱን "ሑሩ ወመሐሩ ኩሎ አሕዛበ" (አሕዛብን ሁሉ ሒዱና አስተምሩ) /ማቴ. 28:19/ ባላቸው ቃል መሠረት ዓለምን በወንጌል ያርሷት ዘንድ በዕጣ ተካፍለዋታል::

የሰው ልጅ ድኅነቱ የሚፈጸመው ቅዱስ ሥጋውንና ክቡር ደሙን ሲቀበል ነውና (ዮሐ. 6:56) አበው ሐዋርያት ቁርባንን በተመረጡ ሰዎች ቤት እያዘጋጁ ቀድሰው ያቆርቡ ነበር::

በመጀመሪያ በጽርሐ ጽዮን: ቀጥሎም በተለያዩ ሰዎች ቤት እንዲሕ ይከናወን ነበር:: ለጸሎት ሥራ ደግሞ አንዳንዴ ምኩራበ አይሁድን ይጠቀሙ ነበር:: እየቆየ ሲሔድ ግን ከአሕዛብ ያመኑ ሰዎች ቁጥር እጅጉን በዛ::

በተለይ ቅዱስ ጳውሎስ ያሳመናቸው ለጸሎት እያሉ ወደ ጣዖት ቤት መግባት አመጡ:: በዚሕ ምክንያት መምሕራን ሕዝቡን "ካመናችሁ በኋላ እንዴት ወደ ጣዖት ቤት ትገባላችሁ?" ቢሏቸው "እኛ ምን እናድርግ! የምንጸልይበት እንደሆን የለን" ሲሉ መለሱላቸው::

ነገሩ ሲያያዝ ከደጋጉ ሐዋርያት ጳውሎስና በርናባስ ደረሰ:: ወዲያውኑ አንዳንድ ወንድሞች "ለምን አናንጽም" ብለው ነበር:: ቅዱስ ጳውሎስ ግን "ሊቀ ሐዋርያቱ ሳይፈቅድ አይሆንም" አለ:: (ለዚሕ ነው ዛሬም ሊቀ ጳጳስ ካልፈቀደ ቤተ ክርስቲያን የማይታነጸው::)

ከዚያ ቅዱሳን ጳውሎስና በርናባስ ሐዋርያቱ ወዳሉበት ሔደው ነገሩን ለቅዱስ ጴጥሮስ አስረዱ:: ሊቀ ሐዋርያቱም "የጌታችን ፈቃዱ መሆኑን እናውቅ ዘንድ ተያይዘን ሱባዔ እንግባ" ብሎ አዋጅ ነገረ::

በዓለም ያሉ ክርስቲያኖች ሁሉ በአንድ ልብ ሱባዔ ገቡ:: በሱባዔአቸው መጨረሻም ክብር ይግባውና መድኃኒታችን ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ በግርማ ወደ እነርሱ ወረደ::

ሁሉንም ሐዋርያት በደመና ጭኖ ፊልጵስዩስ አደረሳቸው:: ከከተማ ወጣ ብሎ ባለ መሬት ላይም "ቤተ ክርስቲያንን በእናቴ ስም አንጹ" ብሎ አዘዛቸው:: ለቅዱስ ጴጥሮስም ሦስት ዓለቶችን ሰጠው::

እነዚያን መሬት ላይ ተክሎ : ጌታችን ቆሞለት : ሐዋርያቱ እየተራዱት : ግርምት የምትሆን ሦስት ክፍል ያላትን የመጀመሪያዋን ቤተ ክርስቲያን በ52 ዓ/ም በዚህች ቀን አንጿል::

✞✞✞On this day is commemorated the Construction of the First Church in the Name of our Lady the Virgin Mary✞✞✞

✞✞✞In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, one God. Amen!✞✞✞

✞✞✞The Feast of the Construction of the Church of the Virgin Mary✞✞✞
=>On this day was built the first church in the name of the Theotokos. If asked how that happened, it was as follows.

✞As per the commands of our God, Jesus Christ, to Whose name’s invocation be Lordship, that said, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations” (Matt.28:19) the Apostles divided the world with lots to cultivate it with the Gospel.

✞And since salvation is attained when one receives the Holy Body and Blood [of Christ] (John 6:56), the Fathers, the Apostles, used to prepare the Eucharist in the houses of chosen faithful, would celebrate the liturgy, and offer from the mysteries.

✞This happened first in the Upper Room and next in the homes of different persons. And to pray, they sometimes used the synagogues of the Jews. But when time passed, the number of faithful who were gentiles increased drastically.

✞Especially, those whom St. Paul converted, insisting it was for prayer started entering back into the temples of idols. And when the teachers asked them, “How could you go to the temples of idols after you believed?” They answered, “What should we do?! We do not have a place to pray at.”

✞Then things eventually reached the Apostles Paul and Barnabas. And [when the news was heard] immediately some of the brethren said, “Why do not we build [ours].” But St. Paul responded saying, “Without the permission of the Arch-apostle, it will not be.” (And that is why today a church is not built unless an archbishop gives permission).

✞Then, the Saints, Paul and Barnabas, went to where the Apostles were and told the matter to St. Peter. And the Arch-apostle declared, “So that we know if it is the will of our Lord, let us all together enter into days of prayer and fasting.”

✞And all the faithful in the world entered into some days of fasting and prayer in one mind (heart). And at the end of their prayers and fasts, Our Savior Jesus Christ, may glory be to Him, descended in splendor to where they were.

✞And He took all the Apostles upon a cloud and placed them in Philippi. And He then instructed them, on a land outside of the city, saying, “Build a Church in My mother’s name.” And He gave three rocks to St. Peter.

✞And by placing those three rocks in the ground, the Apostle built an astounding church that had three partitions which was the first in 52 A.D on this day while the Lord stood and the other Apostles helped him.

✞As we are going to say that the Church was consecrated by the Lord tomorrow (on Senne 21/June 28), let us stop here.

✞✞✞May our God grant us the love of His Virgin Mother, the grace of His House (the Church) and the blessings of the blessed Apostles.
