††† የጻድቁን ስም የሚጠራ አፍ ንዑድ ነው: ክቡር ነው:: በእውነት የቅዱሱን አባት ክብር ለማግኘት መፋጠን ይበጃል::

#አቡነ_ኪሮስ የተወለዱት በ4ኛው መቶ ክ/ዘመን ሲሆን ወላጆቻቸው ነገሥታት ናቸው:: ተወልደው ባደጉባት ሃገር #ቁስጥንጥንያ ገና በልጅነት ምቾት ሳያሳሳቸው መጻሕፍትንና ትሕርምትን ተምረዋል:: ወንድማቸው (ታላቁ #ቴዎዶስዮስ) በነገሠባቸው የመጀመሪያ ዓመታት በቤተ መንግስቱ ዙሪያ ግፍ በዝቶ ነበርና አቡነ ኪሮስ ከኃጢአት ለመራቅና ለጌታ ለመገዛት ከከተማው ጠፍተው: አሕጉር አቋርጠው ወደ ግብፅ ( #ገዳመ_አስቄጥስ) መጡ::

እርሳቸውን ለመፈለግ የተደረገው ሙከራ አልተሳካም:: ይባስ ብሎ የንጉሡ ልጅ #ገብረ_ክርስቶስ ሙሽርነቱን ጥሎ ወደ ሌላ ሃገር መነነ:: "የቅኖች ትውልድ ይባረካል" እንዳለ #ቅዱስ_ዳዊት:: አቡነ ኪሮስ ለሙሽራው ገብረ ክርስቶስ አጎቱ ናቸው:: አቡነ ኪሮስ በገዳም ውስጥ የታላቁ #አቡነ_በብኑዳ ደቀ መዝሙር ሆነው ለዘመናት ቆይተዋል::

ቅዱስ በብኑዳን አንበሳ በበላው ጊዜ በጣም አዝነው "ለምን ጌታ ሆይ?" በሚል መሬት ላይ ወድቀው አለቀሱ:: "ምክንያቱ ካልተነገረኝ አልነሳም" ብለው ከወደቁበት መሬት ላይ ሳይነሱ ለ40 ዓመታት አልቅሰዋል:: በዚህ ምክንያት ግማሹ አካላቸው አፈር ሆኖ ሣር በቅሎበታል:: ጌታችን ተገልጦ ምክንያቱን ነግሯቸዋል:: አካላቸውንም እንደነበረ መልሶላቸዋል::

አንድ ቀን ጻድቁ ለቅዱስ በብኑዳ ሞት ምክንያት የሆነው መነኮስ ታንቆ መሞቱን ሰምተው በጣም አዘኑ:: ሱባዔ ገብተው: ፍጹም አልቅሰው: ከጌታም አማልደው: የዛን ኃጥእ ነፍስ ከሲዖል አውጥተዋል:: በሌላ ጊዜ ደግሞ ኃጥአን የሞሉበት አንድ ገዳም በግብጽ ነበርና መቅሰፍት ወርዶ ሁሉንም ባንድ ቀን ሲያጠፋቸው አዩ::

ጻድቁ በዚህም ምክንያት ለ30 ዓመታት አልቅሰው: ሙታኑን አስነስተው: ንስሃ ሰጥተው: ገዳሙን የጻድቃን: ሕይወታቸውንም የፍቅር አድርገውታል:: ጻድቁ #እመቤታችንን ከመውደዳቸው የተነሳ በስዕሏ ፊት አብዝተው ይሰግዱና ያለቅሱ ነበር:: እመ አምላክም ተገልጣ ትባርካቸው ነበር::

ከዚህ በሁዋላ ወደ ምዕራብ አቅጣጫ ሒደው ለ57 ዓመታት ማንንም ሳያዩ ተጋደሉ:: ጌታችን #ኢየሱስ_ክርስቶስ (ለስም አጠራሩ ስግደት ይሁንና) በየቀኑ ይጐበኛቸው: ቁጭ ብሎም ያወራቸው ነበር:: በመጨረሻም በዚህች ቀን ጌታ አእላፍ መላእክትን: ጻድቃን ሰማዕታትን: ድንግል እመቤታችንና ቅዱስ ዳዊትን አስከትሎ ወረደ::

#ቅዱስ_ዳዊት ቀርቦ እያጫወታቸው: በበገናው እየደረደረላቸው: ከዝማሬው ጣዕም የተነሳ ነፍሳቸው ከሥጋቸው በፍቅር ተለየች:: ጌታችንም ታቅፎ: ስሞ ይዟቸው አረገ:: ሥጋቸውን #አባ_ባውማ ቀበሩት:: የአቡነ ኪሮስ ቁመታቸው ቀጥ ያለ: ጽሕማቸውም የተንዠረገገ ነበር:: እድሜአቸውን ግን መገመት የሚቻል አይመስለኝም::

¤የጌታችንን እግር በየቀኑ እያጠቡ የሚመገቡ
¤ፈጣሪያቸውን በጀርባቸው ያዘሉ (ነዳይ መስሎ አግኝተውት)
¤በስብከተ ወንጌል አገልግሎት የተጉ
¤በርካታ ጻድቃንን የወለዱ ታላቅ የፍቅር ሰው ናቸው::

በዘመናቸው ብዙ ተአምራትን ሰርተው: #ቤተ_ክርሰቲያንን በንጽሕናቸው አስደስተው: ሐምሌ 8 ቀን ዐርፈዋል:: ግብፅ ውስጥ የሚገኘው ገዳማቸው ዛሬም ቤተ አበው: ተአምራት የማይለዩትና ተወዳጅ ነው:: ቦታው #መካነ_ሱባዔ_ወመንክራት ነውና::

††† ✝አባ ሚሳኤል ነዳይ✝ †††

††† መቼም ያ ዘመን (4ኛውና 5ኛው ክ/ዘመን) እጅግ የተባረከ ነው:: ቅዱሳኑ በብዛት የባለጸጐችና የነገሥታት ልጆች ናቸው:: አባ ሚሳኤልም የኬልቄዶን ንጉሥ ልጅ ሳሉ መንነው በበርሃ ለ65 ዓመታት ተጋድለዋል:: በመጨረሻ ግን በደዌ ምክንያት ወደቁ:: ለ5 ዓመታት መነኮሳቱ ሲጠይቁዋቸው ቆይተው ሰለቹ::

ከዛም ለ15 ዓመታት ላበታቸው በግንባራቸው እየተቀዳ: ያለ ምንም ምግብ እያቃሰቱ በበዓታቸው ወድቀው ኑረዋል:: ቸሩ አምላክ ግን 4ቱን ሊቃነ መላእክት ( #ሚካኤል: #ገብርኤል: #ሩፋኤልና #ሳቁኤልን) አዞላቸው ሲጠብቁዋቸው ኑረዋል::

በዚህች ቀንም #አቡነ_ኪሮስ መጥተው አጽናንተው: ጌታችንንም ጠርተው እንዲያርፉ አድርገዋል:: መላእክት እያጠኑና እየዘመሩ ጻድቁ ቀብረዋቸዋል:: በመቃብራቸውም ላይ ፈውስ የሆነ ጸበል ፈልቁዋል::

††† እግዚአብሔር የእኛን ያይደለ የጻድቃኑን ቅድስና አስቦ ይራራልን:: ከበረከታቸውም ይክፈለን::

✞✞✞On this day we commemorate the Saints, the Righteous Stars of the Desert Abune Kiros/Karas, Abba Bishoy/Pishoy and Abba Misael✞✞✞

✞✞✞In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, one God. Amen!✞✞✞

✞✞✞ Abune Kiros/Karas/Cyrus✞✞✞
=>A mouth, which invokes the name of the Saint, is glorified and honored. [Hence] It is better to hasten to gain the blessings of the Saintly Father.

✞Abune Kiros was born in the 4th century and his parents were royalties. In the place of his birth, Constantinople, while he was very young, not longing comfort, he learned the scriptures and about austerity. In the first year of his brother’s (Emperor Theodosius’) reign, because malice became prevalent, Abune Kiros ran away from the city and by crossing lands he went to Egypt (the Monastery at Scetes) to distance himself from sin and to submit to the Lord.

✞The search to find him became futile. In addition to that, the Emperor’s son, Christodoulos, also left his groom-ship for asceticism to another country. As St. David had said, “. . . the generation of the upright shall be blessed” Ps. 111 (112):2, Abune Kiros was the uncle of Christodoulos the Groom. Abune Kiros then stayed for many years as the disciple of the Great Abune Bebnuda.

✞Later, when a lion ate St. Bebnuda, Abba Kiros became highly grieved and lamented plunged to the ground saying, “O Lord, why?” And where he laid on the ground, he stayed for 40 years weeping saying, “I won’t rise unless the reason is made known to me”. And for this motive, his body became like the soil and grass grew on it. Then, the Lord appeared and told him the reason, and He returned his body to its previous condition.

✞One day, the Saint was much distraught when he heard that the monk who was responsible for the death of St. Bebnuda had hanged himself and had died. Then, he entered into prayer and fasting, lamented greatly, entreated the Lord and brought out the soul of that sinner from hell. And on another period, he saw one monastery in Egypt which was filled by sinners being smitten [by God] and perishing in one day.

✞Hence, the Saint lamented for 30 years, raised all those that had died, gave penance, made the monastery of the righteous and their lives of love. Because the Saint loved our Lady very much he used to prostrate and weep before her icon several times. And the Theotokos used to appear and bless him.

✞Thereafter, he went westwards and lived for 57 years without seeing anyone [in the wilderness]. Our Lord Jesus Christ (to Whose name’s invocation be prostration) used to visit him daily, and sat to speak to him. Finally, on this day, our Lord descended from heaven followed by myriads of angels, saints, martyrs, our Lady the Virgin and St. David.

✞St. David came closer to him and while he played for him the harp because of tang of the hymn, his soul departed from his body in love. Our Lord embraced and kissed him. Then ascended with him. Abba Bamwa (Pimwah) buried his body. Abune Kiros’ figure was straight, his beard was long but I think it is difficult to guess his age.

✞✞✞ Abba Bishoy/Pishoy the Star of the Desert✞✞✞
-lived in the 4th century A.D
-became an ascetic by the guidance of angels
-was a friend of St. John Colobus (the Short)
-was the disciple of Abba Bemwa (Pambo/Pemwah)
-and was a man that became a father to many in a short time.

✞He
-knew not sleep
-always washed the feet of our Lord and ate
-carried his Creator on his back (because he found Him in the likeness of a destitute person)
-was diligent in the preaching ministry of the Gospel
-and was a man of great love that bore many saints.

✞He departed on Hamle 8/July 15 (today) after performing many miracles and delighting the Church in his purity in all his years. His monastery, which is found in Egypt, is still today a loved abode of fathers and a place of frequent miracles. And that’s because the hermitage is a place of prayer and wonders.

✞✞✞Abba Misael the Poor✞✞✞
=>That era (the 4th and 5th centuries) is much blessed. The Saints of the time were mostly the children the wealthy and of monarchs. Abba Misael while he was the son of the Ruler of Chalcedon became a monastic and lived for 65 years in strife in the desert. Later on, he fell ill and the monks after visiting him for 5 years became weary.

✞Then for the next 15 years he lived while his sweat dripped from his forehead, without any food, groaning and bedridden in his cell. Nevertheless, because the Good God had ordered for him the 4 Archangels (Michael, Gabriel, Raphael and Sachiel), they protected him.

✞On this day, Abune Kiros consoled him, called upon the Lord and he departed. The Saint was buried while angels incensed and sang. And from his burial ground came forth a healing spring that cured.

✞✞✞ May God remember not ours but the holiness of the Saints and have compassion upon us. And may He grant us from their blessings.
