=>በዚችም ሰኔ21ቀን ሐዋርያው ቅዱስቶማስ በመሸታ ቤት (ቤተ መያሲ) ባረድዋት በአንዲት ሴት ላይ ላደረገው ተአምር መታሰቢያ ነው። በረከቱ ከእኛ ጋራ ትኑር ለዘለዓለሙ አሜን።

†††✝ በስመ አብ ወወልድ ወመንፈስ ቅዱስ አሐዱ አምላክ አሜን! †††

††† ✝ቅዱስ ዻውሎስ የዋህ ✝†††

††† በ4ኛው መቶ ክ/ዘመን መጀመሪያ አካባቢ ግብፅ ውስጥ ተወልዶ ያደገው ቅዱሱ ስሙ ዻውሎስ ቢሆንም ብዙ ጊዜ የሚጠራው "የዋህ ዻውሊ" በሚል ነው:: ይሕስ እንደ ምን ነው ቢሉ:-

የዋህ ዻውሊ ከሕጻንነቱ ጀምሮ መጻሕፍትን የተማረ: ግን ደግሞ ትዕቢት: ቁጣና ቂምን የማያውቅ ገራገር ሰው ነው:: እድሜው ለአካለ መጠን ሲደርስ ቤተሰቦቹ ሚስት አግባ አሉት:: እርሱ ባያስብበትም ወገኖቹን ላለማሳዘን አገባ:: እንዳለመታደል ሆኖ ግን ያገባት ሴት በጣም ቆንጆ በዚያም ላይ ክፉ ነበረች:: የዋህ ዻውሊ ክፋቷን ሁሉ ታግሶ ለበርካታ ዓመታት አብሮ ኖረ:: ልጆችንም አፈሩ::

አሁንም ግን እርሷ ከክፋቷ ልትታገስ አልቻለችም:: ይባስ ብሎ ዻውሊ በሌለበት ከሌሎች ወንዶች ጋር ትዘሙት ያዘች:: የዋሁ ሰው ይሕንኑ ያውቃል ግን የእግዚአብሔርን ሥራ ዝም ብሎ በተስፋ ይጠብቅ ነበር:: ለነገሩስ እሱ ያርሳል: ይቆፍራል: ነዳያንን ያበላል: እንግዳ ይቀበላል እንጂ ክፋትን ለማሰብ ጊዜ አልነበረውም::

አንድ ቀን ግን ለሥራ ወደ በርሃ ወጥቶ አንድ ግሩም ዜና ሰማ:: "አባ እንጦንስ ምንኩስና የሚባል ሕይወተ መላእክትን ጀምሯል: ደቀ መዛሙርትንም ይቀበላል" አሉት:: ግን ሚስትና ልጆች አሉትና ምን ያደርጋል?

የዋህ ዻውሊ ሙሉ ቀን ሢሠራ ውሎ ወደ ቤቱ ሲመለስ ግን የጠበቀው ሌላ ነው:: ሚስቱ በራሱ መኝታ ላይ ከአገልጋይ እረኛው ጋር ራቁታቸውን አገኛቸው:: ልብ በሉልኝ በትክሻው ሞፈርና ምሳር: መጥረቢያም ይዟል:: እርሱ ግን ክፉን አላሰበም:: ጥሩ ልብስ አንስቶ ሁለቱንም አለበሳቸው::
እንዲሕም አላቸው:- "ከዚሕ በሁዋላ እኔ አልመለስም:: ሀብት ንብረቴን ውረሱ: በደስታም ኑሩ:: የልጆቼን ነገር ግን አደራ" ብሏቸው ተነሳ::

በእጁ ምንም አልያዘም:: በትከሻው ያለችውን ብጣሽ ጨርቅ ይዞ ወደ በርሀ ተጉዋዘ:: አባ እንጦንስም ተቀብለው አስተምረው አመነኮሱት:: ከዚያች ቀን ጀምሮ ራስን ዝቅ በማድረግ: በመታዘዝ አገለገለ:: ጾም: ጸሎትና ስግደቱንማ ማን ቆጥሮት::

እያለ እያለ ከብቅዐት ማዕርግ ደረሰ:: ምዕመናንም ሆነ መነኮሳት ሊጠይቁት ሲመጡ የእያንዳንዱ ኃጢአት በግንባራቸው ተጽፎ ይመለከት ነበርና ስለነሱ ሲያለቅስ ቅንድቡ ተላጠ:: ሰውነቱም አለቀ:: አንድ ቀን ጋኔን የያዘውን ሰው ፈውስ ብለው አመጡለት:: እርሱ ግን በአጋንንት ላይ ሥልጣን እያለው በትሕትና ተጠግቶ ጋኔኑን "አባ እንጦንስን ከምጠራብህ ቀስ ብለህ ውጣ" አለው:: ጋኔኑ ግን የፈራው መስሎት በትዕቢት "እንጦንስ ማነው?"አለው::

ያን ጊዜ የዋህ ዻውሊ እንደ እሳት ከጋለ ድንጋይ ላይ ቁሞ "ሕያው እግዚአብሔር ምስክሬ ነው:: ይሕ ጋኔን ካልወጣ አልወርድም" አለ:: ወዲያው በዘንዶ አምሳል ከሴትዮዋ ወጥቶ እየጮኸ ወደ ቀይ ባሕር ገባ::ቅዱስ ዻውሊ የዋሕም እንዲሕ በቅድስና ተመላልሶ በዚሕች ቀን በመልካም ሽምግልና ዐርፏል::

" የመንፈስ ፍሬ ግን ፍቅር: ደስታ: ሰላም: ትእግስት: ቸርነት: በጐነት: እምነት: የውሃት: ራስን መግዛት ነው:: እንደዚህ ያሉትን የሚከለክል ሕግ የለም:: የክርስቶስ ኢየሱስም የሆኑቱ ሥጋን ከክፉ መሻቱና ከምኞቱ ጋር ሰቀሉ::" (ገላ. 5:22)

✞✞✞On this day we commemorate the Departure of Saint Paul the Meek/the Simple✞✞✞

✞✞✞In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, one God. Amen!✞✞✞

✞✞✞ Saint Paul the Meek/the Simple✞✞✞
=>The Saint who was born and raised around the beginning of 4th century Egypt, though his name is Paul is mostly known as Paul the Meek. And if asked why that is, it is as follows.

✞Paul the Meek studied the Scriptures from a young age and was a compassionate person that did not know pride, anger and resentment. And when he came of age, his parents told him to get married. And though he did not think much of it, to make his parents happy, he married. However, he was unlucky, the woman he married was very beautiful and wicked on top of that. Paul the Meek endured all her evil ways, and lived for many years with her. And they bore children.

✞Still, she did not return from her evil ways. In addition to that, she started committing adultery with other men when Paul was not present. The meek man knew this but he hoped on the work of God quietly. As he did not have time to think of evil, he was occupied with cultivating and ploughing the land, feeding the poor, and receiving guests.

✞One day, when he went out to the wilderness for work, he heard some good news. People told him, “Abba Anthony has started a life of the angels called monasticism and he takes disciples.” Nonetheless, as he had a wife and children, what could he do?

✞And after working all day when he returned to his home what awaited him was something unexpected. He found his wife with his servant, his shepherd, naked on his own bed. Notice that he had the beam of his plow, a machete and an axe on his shoulder and hands. However, he did not think of evil, rather he took good clothes and gave both of them to wear.

✞And then he said, “After this, I will not return. Inherit my wealth and property, and live joyfully. And take care of my children.” Thence, he left.

✞He did not take anything in his hands. He only had the cloth that was on his back and went to the desert. And Abba Anthony received, taught and tonsured him a monk. And starting that day, he served with humility, lowering himself. And who could count the volumes of his fasts, prayers and prostrations.

✞Little by little he reached the level of perfection. And when the faithful or monks came to him, he used to see their sins written upon their foreheads. And his eyelashes were peeled from weeping for their sins and his body withered. One day, they brought before him a person possessed by a demon stating that he should heal him. But while having power over demons, in humility, he said by getting closer to the person’s ear to the demon, “Before I call upon Abba Anthony, leave slowly without causing any commotion.” But the demon thinking it was feared said in pride, “Who is Anthony?”

✞And at that moment, Paul the Meek stood upon a blistering boulder and said, “God is my witness, if this demon does not come out, I will not step down from this rock.” And immediately that demon went out of the man in the likeness of a python screaming and entered into the Red Sea. And after living in such a holy life St. Paul the Meek passed away in a good old age on this day.

✞✞✞May our God grant us from St. Paul’s meekness, longsuffering, goodness, grace, and blessing.

⚜ሰአል ለነ ጊዮርጊስ ኀበ እግዚአብሔር ወጸሊ በእንቲአነ ሐረድዎ ወገመድዎ ወዘረዉ ሥጋሁ ከመ ሐመድ ወወሰድዎ ኀበ ሰብአ ነገሥት ረገጸ ምድረ አንሥአ ሙታነ አባ ጊዮርጊስ በሰላም ዐደወ መንግሥተ ክብር ወረሰ።

🌿ወልደ እግዚአብሔር አምላክነ ወመድኃኒነ ዕቀብ  ሕይወተነ እም ገሀነመ እሳት ወእምኵሉ መንሱት በእንተ ቅዱስ ስምከ ወበእንተ ማርያም እምከ ወበእንተ ቅዱስ መስቀል ወበእንተ ዮሐንስ ወንጌላዊ ወበእንተ ዮሐንስ መጥምቅከ ወበእንተ ኵሎሙ ቅዱሳን ወሀባ ሰላመ ለሀገሪትነ ኢትዮጵያ ወለቅድስት ቤተክርስቲያን።

⚜ሰላም ለክሙ ጻድቃን ወሰማዕት እለ አዕረፍክሙ በዛቲ ዕለት መዋዕያነ ዓለም አንትሙ በብዙኅ ትዕግሥት። ሰአሉ ቅድመ ፈጣሪ በኩሉ ሰዓት እንበለ ንስሐ ኪያነ ኢይንሣእ ሞት።

🌿አንቅሐኒ በጽባሕ ክሥተኒ ዕዝንየ በዘአጸምእ አምላኪየ አምላኪየ እገይሥ ኀቤከ ዘይሰማዕ ግበር ሊተ ምሕረተከ በጽባሕ"

⚜ነቢያት ወሐዋርያት፥ ጻድቃን ወሰማዕት፤ ደናግል ወመነኮሳት፥ አዕሩግ ወሕጻናት፤ ገዳማውያን ወሊቃውንት፤ ሰአሉ ለነ ኲልክሙ፥ ቅድመ መንበሩ ለጸባኦት።

🌿እግዝእትየ ፍትሕኒ እማዕሠሩ ለሰይጣን፤
እሙ ለመድኅን ወለተ ብርሃን።
