π #RARinAction Across Uzbekistan!
From September 6 to 11, Regional Alumni Representatives (RARs) and alumni of U.S. Government exchange programs joined forces across multiple regions to raise awareness about the Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) Program and inspire motivated students to apply.
β¨ From Namangan to Surkhandarya, Kashkadarya to Bukhara, Andijan to Khorezm, Navoi to Jizzakh, and Fergana, alumni-led outreach events gathered hundreds of 9th- and 10th-grade students eager to learn about study opportunities in the United States.
Across these regions, participants:
- Gained an overview of the FLEX program and its benefits through presentations and Q&A sessions.
- Heard firsthand stories from FLEX and other USG alumni about living with host families, studying at U.S. high schools, and gaining new perspectives.
- Took part in interactive sessions on goal-setting, motivation, and personal development, as well as engaging games, quizzes, and networking activities.
π Students left inspired, equipped with practical knowledge, and motivated to take the first step toward their own exchange journey. Alumni, meanwhile, strengthened their role as mentors and role models, building bridges between international opportunities and local communities.
π These events were part of the USG Alumni Program, funded by the U.S. Embassy Tashkent and administered by American Councils Uzbekistan.
