The mass appeared 2 months ago, but also had older images showing that it was present (although smaller) last year.

Hypertrophic tonsils can be caused by recurrent pharyngitis and local inflammation, especially in children and young adults. 💢 هذه "المضاعفة" قد تحدث عند بعض المرضى بعد الخلع أو الجراحة، وتُسمّى الكدمة (Ecchymosis).
وهي ناتجة عن نزيف دموي تحت الطبقة المخاطية أو الجلد بعد العملية، بسبب تمزّق الأوعية الدموية الصغيرة (الشعيرات الدموية) أثناء الخلع أو عند سحب الأنسجة الرخوة لفترة طويلة.

🔹 ما الذي يحدث بالضبط؟
عند تمزّق الشعيرات الدموية، يتسرّب الدم إلى الأنسجة تحت الجلد، ويظهر على شكل بقعة مزرقة أو بنفسجية 💜.
في النهاية يقوم الجسم بامتصاص الدم تدريجيًا وتختفي العلامة خلال ٧–١٠ أيام.

🩵 هي ليست حالة خطيرة ولا تسبب ألمًا شديدًا أو عدوى.
