Turns out one of the games I won was captured on video. My opponent resigned after I forked his king and rook.

The Dance of 8.5s

For today, I just wanna share this beautiful combination scored by Dilmurod aka (one of the very few instructors at IELTS ZONE who is older than me).

He rarely takes the test (once every two years) and this was his 5th attempt overall.

If he’d had more practice, he would have surely hit that overall 9.0 today. Well, every cloud has a silver lining, maybe it was a blessing in disguise for me, if you know what I mean… 😄

Anyhow, if anyone is keeping count, Dilmurod aka is the 5th person at IELTS ZONE to score 8.5 for writing.
