Uzbekistonda navbatdagi, 8-NINER!
#FunFactOne: it was Dovudkhonβs 9th attempt overall, so it took him 9 times to get the overall 9.0.
#FunFactTwo: Dovudkhonβs journey with IELTS ZONE began a long time ago, back in 2017. Interestingly, his IELTS score back then was already 8.5.
After a period of exploring other professional avenues, his enduring passion for teaching led him back to IELTS ZONE in 2022.
He is currently teaching at our A.Temur branch, s donβt forget to say hi to our brand new NINER when you see him around!

#GuessTheIdiom
Using Dall-E by Chat GPT, I asked it to draw a picture describing an idiom/expression in English.
Can you guess which idiom is being described in this picture?
Example sentence:
Many employers had long _____ ______ _____ to the idea that their workers were their most important asset. These days, they have to do more than just talk about it.

Here is another, yet a clearer picture. I realize the previous picture may have given the wrong image ('big mouth' is definitely the one I would go for as well, but that's not the idiom I had in mind).
Pay closer attention to the sentence below. It shows how many words you need plus the second sentence hints at the meaning of the idiom.

Good job!
The correct answer is:
To pay lip service or the grammatically correct version to complete the sentence would be: paid lip service
Meaning: to say that you agree with something but do nothing to support it:
She claims to be in favour of training, but so far she's only paid lip service to the idea.
