Ethiopia interbank Money Market Trades Reached ETB 13.4 Billion on August 18 - August 22 Trade.

The total amount of money exchanged in the interbank money market of Ethiopia during the week ending August 22, 2025 was ETB 13.38 billion, including ETB 5.7 billion overnight funding, and ETB 7.68 billion on a 7 day placement.

The weighted average rates extended to 12.00 % overnight (up 0.07 points) and 12.90 percent at 7-days (down 1.03 points). Accumulated turnover of October 31, 2024 was ETB 917.1 billion.
