ያልወረደ የወንድ የዘር ፍሬ | Gad bu’uu dhabuu cidhaanii | Undescended Testis
ፍቺ፡- ያልወረደ የወንድ የዘር ፍሬ ማለት አንድ ወይም ሁለቱም የወንድ የዘር ፍሬዎች ወደ ከረጢቱ ውስጥ ሲወለዱ ወይም ከዚያ በኋላ ብዙም ሳይቆይ ወደ ከረጢቱ አለመውረድ ነው።
ምክንያት:- በእርግዝና ወቅት የወንድ የዘር ፍሬዎች በሆዱ የጀርባ ክፍል ውስጥ ይፈጠራሉ:: እርግዝና እየገፋ ሲሄድ ፍሬዎቹ ወደ ታች ይወርዳሉ። ይህ ሂደት ካልተሳካ, ያልወረደ የወንድ የዘር ፍሬን ያስከትላል::
እንዴት እንደሚታወቅ፡- ቤተሰቡ የጾታ ብልትን በመመርመር ብቻ ችግሩን ማወቅ ይቻላል። ከረጢቱ ውስጥ አንድ ወይም ሁለቱም የወንድ የዘር ፍሬዎች ከሌሉ ይህ ምናልባት ያልወረደ የወንድ የዘር ፍሬ ነው እና የሃኪም ምክር ያስፈልገዋል።
መፍትሄው ምንድን ነው:- በወሊድ ጊዜ ከታወቀ እስከ 6 ወር ድረስ ክትትል ሊደረግበት ይችላል. ከ 6 ወር በላይ የሚቆይ ከሆነ በቀዶ ህክምና ወደቦታው መመለስ ያስፈልጋል።
ካልታከሙ ምን ያስከትለል:-
ü መካንነት ሊያስክትል ይችላል፦ በተለይ ሁለቱም ፍሬ ያልቦታቸው ከሆኑ እና ሕክምናው ከዘገየ
ü የዘር ፍሬ ካንስር የመያዝ እድሉ ከፍ ይላል
ü የዘር ፍሬው ደም ስር ሊዞር ይችላል (testicular torsion)
ü ለኣደጋ ይጋለጣል
ü የዘር ፍሬ መጠን ይቀንሳል
ü ለ ቡአ/ inguinal hernia የተጋለጡ ናቸው
ü በልጁ ላይ እያደጉ ሲሄዱ የስነ-ልቦና ተፅእኖ ማምጣት ይችላል።
Hiika: Gad bu’uu dhabuu cidhaanii jechuun cidhaan gara tokkoo yookaan lamaan isaayyuu korojoo cidhaanii (scrotum) keessatti kan hin argamne jechuudha.
Akkamiin uuma?
- Kunis kan uumamu yeroo daa’imni dhiiraa tokko garaa hadhasaa keessa jiru; Cidhaan kan uumamu garaa daa’immichaa keessatti. Ammuma umuriin ulfaa dabalaa adeemu micireen cidhaanii kun gad bu’uun korojoo isaa (scrotum) keessa buufata. Gaafa daa’imni dhiiraa dhalatu daa’imman baay’ee keessatti bakka saatti gad bu’ee argama. Daa’imman muraasa keessatti garuu erga dhalatanii yeroo muraasa keessatti gad bu’a. Kunis ji’oota jalqabaa jahan keessatti jechuudha.

Call for Adult Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship application
St. Paul's Hospital Millennium Medical College, Department of Internal Medicine, is pleased to announce its interest in accepting a second cohort of fellows for the Adult Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship program for the 2025/2026 academic year. This subspecialty program features an international attachment to a renowned global center, along with comprehensive mentorship and training by both local and international experts in the field.
The candidate should fulfill the following requirements
1. The candidate should have a specialty certificate in internal medicine, clinical oncology or hematology from a recognized university
2. The candidate must be a registered internist, clinical oncologist or hematologist, and licensed by the Federal Ministry of Health of Ethiopia on his/her respective specialty certificate. If the specialty certificate is obtained from abroad, it should be licensed as by the FMOH Ethiopia
3. The candidate must complete and pass the screening process for admission to be undertaken by the department of internal medicine including:
3.1. Document review (750 word sized letter of intent indicating reasons for joining the program, professional career goals, and how the fellowship will help attain those goals; updated CV, two letters of professional recommendations preferably sent directly via emails from the recommending person to the emails listed below (one recommendation from the institute where the candidate is currently working, and one from former mentors during the residency training), support letter of sponsoring institutions
3.2. Entrance examination (both written and interview)
4. Candidates must be from areas/regions assumed to have inadequate adult hemato-oncologic services
5. Applicants must be in acceptable physical and mental health without any serious health conditions that would limit the ability to cope with the requirements of the fellowship training program and service as mentioned on the college legislation
6. Applicants should not have any active criminal records that led to prosecution and should not be in violation of any code of medical ethics as declared by the applicant
7. Applicant should have pass mark for National Graduate Admission Test (NGAT)
