⇒ Q: How did Suga (Min Yoongi) interact with children with autism spectrum disorder? 👩🏻⚕️: We conducted the program 10 times in total, and each time lasted about 90 minutes. There was a really impressive session. Do you know the song <Me to You, You to Me>?…
⇒ And there was a session where they had to write letters to each other. Suga-sshi would gently play the guitar to match the speed of the speech, the rhythm too, he would match it like, speed up or slow down to match the speed. With that, thanks to Suga-sshi, the children got to experience the words and music coming together.
Interestingly, although we told the parents (of children with autism spectrum disorder) that Suga-sshi was participating as an assistant therapist and volunteer, our children participated it without knowing that the music teacher was Suga-sshi at all. I want to tell you that they participated until the end without knowing at all that Suga-sshi was the music teacher or that he was the teacher who played the guitar.
👩🏻⚕️: Since Suga-sshi has always been interested in youth mental health, I think he felt more and more about the importance of these systematic treatment system, platform, and hardware for children and adolescents through continuous communication with me. So, Suga-sshi suddenly felt the desire to create such a dedicated space and provided financial support of 5 billion won.

⇐ 👩🏻⚕: اونا سازهای مختلفی رو انتخاب کردند و باهم نواختنش. اون موقع شوگا میگفت "اول تو شروع کن و من باهات هماهنگ میشم" و با ریتم هماهنگ میشد.
یه جلسه بود که باید برای هم نامه می‌نوشتن. شوگا به آرومی گیتار میزد تا با سرعت حرف‌هاشون و همینطور ریتم هماهنگ بشه، اینجوری که مثلا یا سرعتش رو بیشتر میکرد یا کمتر. اینجوری به لطف شوگا بچه‌ها تونستن کلمات و موسیقی رو درکنار هم تجربه کنن.
جالب این ـه که با اینکه ما به خانواده‌ها گفتیم شوگا بعنوان کمک تراپیست و داوطلب مشارکت میکنه، بچه‌ها بدون دونستن این که مربی موسیقیشون شوگا بود شرکت کردند. میخوام اینو بگم که بدون دونستن اینکه مربی موسیقیشون و یا کسی که گیتار میزد شوگا بود، تا اخرش برنامه‌ها رو شرکت کردند.
👩🏻⚕: از اونجایی که شوگا همیشه به سلامت روان جوان‌ها علاقه داشت، بنظرم از طریق ارتباط با من، اون بیشتر و بیشتر به اهمیت این سیستم درمان سیستماتیک، پلتفرم و ابزار درمان برای کودکان و نوجوانان پی برد. واسه همین شوگا احساس کرد که میخواد چنین فضای اختصاصی‌ای رو ایجاد کنه و ۵ میلیارد وون کمک مالی کرد.

👩🏻⚕️: The first time we met I was surprised to find that Suga-ssi had read almost all 500 pages of the textbook I wrote. The questions he asked me were so indepth and sharp that I was genuinely shocked.
👩🏻⚕️: At our very first meeting Suga-ssi was the first to express his desire to donate his musical talents. As I thought about how we could implement his good intentions and music donation, led by his sincerity that’s how the new <MIND> program came to be.
👩🏻⚕️: From watching the preparation stages with Suga-ssi to all the way through the program I realized ‘This person is not just a simple donor.’
Throughout the entire program, he never once arrived late. In fact he would come earlier than me to practice guitar and also hold pre-meetings with the therapists to prepare. Seeing him I thought ‘It’s the weekend yet he came this early to prep for the sessions?’ The sight moved me deeply, and I still remember how solemn I felt.
Suga-ssi really put a lot of effort into matching his pace and energy to the children’s level. I cannot forget the happy expression on his face.
I thought, ‘Suga-ssi is truly participating in the therapy with a joyful heart, this must be a time of great happiness and healing for him.’ All the therapists were deeply touched by his sincerity.

👩🏻⚕: اولین‌باری که همو دیدم، وقتی فهمیدم شوگا کل کتاب ۵۰۰ صفحه‌ای که نوشتم رو خونده تعجب کردم. سوالاتی که ازم میپرسید انقدر عمیق و هوشمندانه بودن که واقعا شوکه شده بودم.
توی اولین دیدارمون، شوگا اولین نفری بود که گفت میخواد استعداد موسیقیاییش رو به اشتراک بذاره. به این فکر کردم که چطور میتونیم حسن نیت و موسیقیش رو که از صداقتش نشات میگیره عملی کنیم. اینجوری شد که برنامه مین‌دی بوجود اومد.
👩🏻⚕: با دیدن مراحل آماده‌سازی با شوگا گرفته تا خود برنامه، با خودم گفتم که 'این آدم صرفا یه اهداکننده‌ی ساده نیست'.
در طول برنامه، اون یکبار هم دیر نکرد. درواقع زودتر از من میومد تا گیتار تمرین کنه و از قبل با تراپیست‌ها جلسه میذاشت تا آماده بشه. با دیدنش با خودم گفتم 'امروز اخر هفته‌ست، اما با اینحال انقدر زود اومده تا برای جلسات آماده بشه؟'. این صحنه من رو عمیقا تحت تاثیر قرار داد و هنوزم یادمه چه حسی داشتم.
شوگا واقعا تلاش کرد تا سرعت و انرژیش رو به سطح بچه‌های اوتیسمی برسونه. هیچوقت اون چهره خوشحالش رو یادم نمیره.
با خودم گفتم 'شوگا واقعا با قلبی خوشحال توی برنامه درمانی مشارکت میکنه، حتما این زمان براش شادی بزرگی ـه و حالش رو خوب میکنه.' تمام تراپیست‌ها تحت تاثیر صداقت و حسن نیتش قرار گرفته بودند.
