“Hozirda Xitoy Taypeyida Kurash bo'yica ikki vazn toifasida juda kuchli polvonlar yetishib chiqmoqda. Bu nafaqat Xitoy Taypeyi uchun, balki boshqa mamlakatlar uchun ham jiddiy raqobatni yuzaga keltiradi. Endilikda medallar uchun O‘zbekiston, Tojikiston, Eron, Qozog‘iston qatorida Xitoy Taypeyi ham asosiy da’vogar sifatida maydonga chiqmoqda.”

🏆Shuningdek, tomonlar 2027-yilda Kurash bo’yicha jahon chempionatini Xitoy Taypeyida o‘tkazish masalasini ham muhokama qildilar. Xitoy Taypeyi vakillari bu katta yutuq ekanligini ma’lum qildi. Tegishli ruxsat berilsa, mazkur yirik musobaqani o‘z yurtlarida o‘tkazishga tayyor ekanliklarini bildirdilar.

Kurash Development was discussed in Chinese Taipei

📍An important meeting was held today between sports leaders from Chinese Taipei and representatives of the International Kurash Association (IKA) at the headquarters of the Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee.

❗️The meeting was attended by Mr. Eric Lin, President of the Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee; Secretary-General Li So Syu; Vicky Chang, President of the Chinese Taipei Kurash Federation and General Secretary Jeny Chang; as well as IKA General Secretary Mohammad Reza Nassiri and Head of the IKA Administration Mansur Mirzaev.

♻️During the meeting, the development prospects and recent achievements of the Chinese Taipei Kurash Federation were discussed. The IKA's assistance in facilitating the work of Mr. Olim Ravshanov and Mr. Abror Jabborov as coaches in Chinese Taipei was particularly acknowledged.
Mr.Eric Lin emphasised that the activities of the Uzbek coaches will help further enhance the level of the country's Kurash athletes.

🎙In his speech, IKA General Secretary Mohammad Reza Nassiri noted the growing sports potential of Chinese Taipei:

"Currently, in Chinese Taipei, the number of very strong Kurash athletes is increasing in two weight categories. This creates serious competitive environment not only for Chinese Taipei but also for other countries. Now, alongside Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Iran, and Kazakhstan, Chinese Taipei is also becoming as a main contender for medals in the future ."

🏆Furthermore, the parties also discussed the matter of hosting the 2027 World Kurash Championships in Chinese Taipei. The representatives from Chinese Taipei stated that this would be a significant achievement. They expressed their readiness to host this major event in their country if the relevant permission is granted.

⚡️The high level of organisation for the East and Southeast Asian Kurash championships was also specifically noted during the meeting.

The meeting was held in a sincere and positive atmosphere. At the end, the parties exchanged commemorative gifts.

Asian Youth Games 2025: Kurash bahslari 19-20 oktyabr kunlari o’tkaziladi

🇧🇭Sevimli sportimiz — Kurash shu yilning 22–31 oktyabr kunlari Manama shahrida bo‘lib o‘tadigan 3-Osiyo Yoshlar O‘yinlari (AYG 2025) dasturiga kiritilganligi haqida xabar bergan edik.
Bahraynda 45 mamlakatdan 4 mingdan ortiq yosh sportchi 24 sport turi bo‘yicha bellashadi.

🟢Kurash bahslari 19–20 oktyabr kunlari o‘tkazilib, to‘rtta vazn toifasida (o‘g‘il bolalar: -65 kg, -83 kg; qizlar: -52 kg, -70 kg) medallar o‘ynaladi. Har bir mamlakat ikki nafar o‘g‘il va ikki nafar qiz sportchini qo‘yishi mumkin.

“Kurashning Osiyo Yoshlar O‘yinlari dasturidan o‘rin olishi sportimiz xalqaro nufuzining oshib borayotganidan dalolatdir. Bu yosh sportchilar uchun o‘z mahoratini namoyish etish va qit’a miqyosida do‘stlik rishtalarini mustahkamlash imkoniyatidir,” — deya ta’kidladi.

Asian Youth Games 2025: Kurash competitions will be held on October 19-20

🇧🇭We reported that our favorite sport, Kurash, has been included in the program of the 3rd Asian Youth Games (AYG 2025), which will be held in Manama from October 22-31 this year. More than 4,000 young athletes from 45 countries will compete in 24 sports in Bahrain.

🟢The Kurash competitions will be held on October 19-20, and medals will be played in four weight categories (boys: -65 kg, -83 kg; girls: -52 kg, -70 kg). Each country can send two male and two female athletes.

🔊IKA President Haider A. Farman noted that:

“The inclusion of Kurash in the Asian Youth Games programme is a testament to the growing international prestige of our sport. It is an opportunity for young athletes to showcase their skills and strengthen friendships on a continental scale".

A crucial practical week for Kurash coaches is getting started

▶️The 4th group of the three-month online course on Kurash coaching organised by the International Kurash Institute has come to an end.
And ahead is the most important and responsible stage – the final practical week.
Within the framework of the course, which started in August, participants mastered the theoretical modules on the educational platform and participated in interactive sessions via Zoom every Saturday and Sunday. Now, they will have the opportunity to put into practice the knowledge and skills they have gained over the three months.

🌎It is expected that approximately 50 specialists from more than 15 countries, including Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, Malaysia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Togo, Zimbabwe, Egypt, Bangladesh, Romania, India, South Africa, Cameroon, and Mauritania, will participate in this intensive practical stage, which will be held in Tashkent city from October 22–29.

📚During the intensive week, participants will strengthen their theoretical knowledge and demonstrate their practical skills before a Referee Committee under the guidance of leading experts in the field of Kurash.
The test stage will be evaluated by leading international Kurash experts.

🔵Accordingly, the Refereeing training will be led by the IKA Technical Director Ravi Kapoor, the KCA Technical Director Ali Shaherkani, and the IKI Professor Kim Eurjoong.
IKI experts Vahid Pouresfandiaor, Ajmal Isaqzai, Rizomat Soliev, Feruz Bobomurodov, and Shukhrat Kurbanov will share their knowledge and experience with the participants on coaching practice. The general process will be organised under the leadership of Reza Nassiri, General Secretary of the International Kurash Association, and Komil Mukhammadiev, Vice-Rector of the International Kurash Institute.

🔵This course will provide participants with the opportunity to gain international qualifications and practical experience in coaching and refereeing, thereby contributing to the development of the sport of Kurash on a global scale.

▶️Завершился 4-й набор трёхмесячного онлайн-курса по тренерской работе по Кураш, организованного Международным Институтом Кураш.
Впереди самый важный и ответственный этап – заключительная практическая неделя.

📚В рамках курса, стартовавшего в августе, участники осваивали теоретические модули на образовательной платформе и участвовали в интерактивных сессиях в Zoom каждую субботу и воскресенье. Теперь у них будет возможность применить на практике полученные за три месяца знания и навыки.

Official Statement from the International Kurash Association

❗️Subject: Update on the 15th Senior World Kurash Championships 2025 and Related Events
Tashkent, [11-10-2025]

🔰The International Kurash Association (IKA) announces an important update regarding the 15th Senior World Kurash Championships, originally scheduled to be held from November 17 to 23, 2025, alongside key organizational events including the IKA Congress, the Directing Committee Meeting, and the World Series Pro (WSP) Final.

🔴In line with the official IKA calendar for 2025, the Turkish Kurash Federation was entrusted with hosting these prestigious events. This decision was made with full confidence and followed by multiple rounds of coordination meetings throughout the year in Turkey, Georgia, and France—including sessions in January, April, and July—with representatives from the IKA , the President of the European Kurash Confederation, and the Turkish Kurash Federation representatives .
During these meetings, firm assurances were provided by the Turkish side regarding the successful and professional organization of the championships. However, to the disappointment of the International kurash community, the Turkish Kurash Federation informed the IKA at a late stage that the necessary preparations had not been carried out to the required standard and that they would be unable to fulfill their hosting obligations.
This turn of events has placed the IKA in a challenging position and has raised serious concerns regarding the level of responsibility and organizational capacity demonstrated by the Turkish Kurash Federation.

🔰Международная Ассоциация Кураш (IKA) объявляет важную информацию о 15-м Чемпионате Мира по Кураш среди взрослых, который изначально планировалось провести с 17 по 23 ноября 2025 года, а также о ключевых организационных мероприятиях, включая Конгресс IKA, заседание Исполнительного Комитета и финал World Series Pro (WSP).

🔴В соответствии с официальным календарем IKA на 2025 год, проведение этих престижных мероприятий было поручено Турецкой Федерации Кураш. Это решение было принято с полной уверенностью и сопровождалось многочисленными раундами координационных встреч в течение года в Турции, Грузии и Франции, включая сессии в январе, апреле и июле, с представителями IKA, президентом Европейской конфедерации Кураш и представителями Турецкой Федерации Кураш.
В ходе этих встреч турецкая сторона дала твёрдые заверения в успешной и профессиональной организации Чемпионата. Однако, к разочарованию международного сообщества Кураш, Турецкая Федерация Кураш на позднем этапе сообщила IKA, что необходимая подготовка не была проведена на должном уровне и что они не смогут выполнить свои обязательства по организации Чемпионата.

Kurash is in the Islamic Solidarity Games Program

🇸🇦The International Kurash Association (IKA) is pleased to announce that the sport of Kurash has been included as a demonstration sport in the upcoming Islamic Solidarity Games, which will take place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on November 6-21, 2025.

🔰This significant decision marks another important step toward the wider promotion of Kurash among the member countries of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Association (ISSA) and the enhancement of its prestige on the international sports arena.

❗️As noted in the official letter sent by the IKA General Secretary Mr. Mohammad Reza Nassiri to all national Kurash federations across Asia and Africa, participation in this event is open to all federations of Islamic countries (ISSA).

🔵According to the agreement, free accommodation and meals will be provided for six members of each participating country’s delegation. The delegation shall consist of two coaches, two male athletes, and two female athletes.

🔴Kurash competitions will be held in the following weight categories:
• Men: –66 kg and –81 kg
• Women: –57 kg and –70 kg

📌All entries must be submitted exclusively through the International Kurash Association. Registration through the National Olympic Committee is not required.

Federations are requested to send information about their participants, including copies of athletes’ and coaches’ passports and the athletes’ weight categories, by October 15, 2025.
