🛬Delegations from the Kurash Federations of East and Southeast Asian countries have arrived in Chinese Taipei.

♻️Today, the international coaching seminar of the International Kurash Association (IKA) started in New Taipei City. The seminar is being conducted under the leadership of the IKA General Secretary Mohammad Reza Nassiri, Head of the IKA Administration Mansur Mirzaev, IKA Sports Commission Member Juan Dae Wei, and IKI experts Rizamat Soliev and Olim Ravshanov.

📚The seminar, which is attended by about 30 coaches, is being conducted based on the “Kurash Usul” program. Theoretical and practical sessions are important in improving the professional skills of the participants and sharing modern experiences.

❗️The seminar officially started the championship week and serves as an important platform for cooperation and exchange of experience among regional Kurash specialists.

The second day in Chinese Taipei was dedicated to a refereeing seminar.

According to the schedule for the second day of the East and Southeast Asian Championship, a refereeing seminar was organised in New Taipei City.

⚖️ The training sessions were led by Mohammad Reza Nassiri, General Secretary of the International Kurash Association.
He provided participants with comprehensive information on Kurash rules,recent changes to them, and the new criteria being applied in refereeing processes.

👥 The seminar covered both theoretical knowledge for referees and methods for correct practical application. This process was an important step in enhancing the participants' qualifications and ensuring matches are assessed fairly and to a high standard.

First Congress for East and Southeast Asian Countries was held

🗓On September 29, 2025, the first Congress for the Kurash federations of East and Southeast Asian countries was held in New Taipei City, Chinese Taipei.

🎙️The meeting was opened by the IKA General Secretary Mohammad Reza Nassiri. In his speech, he emphasised the importance of strengthening cooperation with these two regions, noting that this process not only opens up new opportunities in Kurash, but also serves to develop friendly relations between countries.

⏳Within the framework of the congress agenda, organisational issues and technical details of the championship were discussed.
In particular, on September 30 from 07:00 - unofficial and official weight measurements will take place. At 09:00, the competitions will start.

🔰Tomorrow, on the first day of the championship, women will compete in all weight categories.
On October 1, men are scheduled to test their strength in all weight categories.

❗️The opening ceremony of the tournament is expected to be attended by the mayor of New Taipei City and the president of the Chinese Taipei National Olympic Committee.

The women's competitions of the East and Southeast Asian Championships have finished

🗓️On September 30, 2025, the first day of the competitions of the East and Southeast Asian Championships was held in New Taipei City, Chinese Taipei. According to the program, competitions were organised in all weight categories among women: -48 kg, -52 kg, -57 kg, -63 kg, -70 kg, -78 kg, -87 kg and +87 kg.

📍The official opening ceremony of the championship was held at the Taipei Gymnasium sports complex.
At the ceremony, IKA General Secretary Mohammad Reza Nassiri, representatives of the National Olympic Committee of Chinese Taipei and the Ministry of Sports spoke and wished the participants good luck. They noted that the Kurash competition serves not only to identify talented athletes, but also to strengthen friendship and cultural cooperation between peoples.

🏆Shuningdek, tomonlar 2027-yilda Kurash bo’yicha jahon chempionatini Xitoy Taypeyida o‘tkazish masalasini ham muhokama qildilar. Xitoy Taypeyi vakillari bu katta yutuq ekanligini ma’lum qildi. Tegishli ruxsat berilsa, mazkur yirik musobaqani o‘z yurtlarida o‘tkazishga tayyor ekanliklarini bildirdilar.

Kurash Development was discussed in Chinese Taipei

📍An important meeting was held today between sports leaders from Chinese Taipei and representatives of the International Kurash Association (IKA) at the headquarters of the Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee.

❗️The meeting was attended by Mr. Eric Lin, President of the Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee; Secretary-General Li So Syu; Vicky Chang, President of the Chinese Taipei Kurash Federation and General Secretary Jeny Chang; as well as IKA General Secretary Mohammad Reza Nassiri and Head of the IKA Administration Mansur Mirzaev.

♻️During the meeting, the development prospects and recent achievements of the Chinese Taipei Kurash Federation were discussed. The IKA's assistance in facilitating the work of Mr. Olim Ravshanov and Mr. Abror Jabborov as coaches in Chinese Taipei was particularly acknowledged.
Mr.Eric Lin emphasised that the activities of the Uzbek coaches will help further enhance the level of the country's Kurash athletes.

🎙In his speech, IKA General Secretary Mohammad Reza Nassiri noted the growing sports potential of Chinese Taipei:

"Currently, in Chinese Taipei, the number of very strong Kurash athletes is increasing in two weight categories. This creates serious competitive environment not only for Chinese Taipei but also for other countries. Now, alongside Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Iran, and Kazakhstan, Chinese Taipei is also becoming as a main contender for medals in the future ."

🏆Furthermore, the parties also discussed the matter of hosting the 2027 World Kurash Championships in Chinese Taipei. The representatives from Chinese Taipei stated that this would be a significant achievement. They expressed their readiness to host this major event in their country if the relevant permission is granted.

⚡️The high level of organisation for the East and Southeast Asian Kurash championships was also specifically noted during the meeting.

The meeting was held in a sincere and positive atmosphere. At the end, the parties exchanged commemorative gifts.
