از fewer استفاده می‌کنیم.
با استفاده از fewer می‌توانیم درباره‌ی تعدادی که از چیزی وجود دارد، صحبت کنیم.

📕 وقتی از اندازه‌گیری زمان، فاصله، وزن و پول صحبت می‌کنیم، به جای fewer از less استفاده می‌کنیم:

✅ It is less than six hours until my essay is due.

✅I live less than fifty miles from London.

📘مورد استثنای پایانی وقتی به وجود می‌آید که درباره‌ی چیزی قابل شمارش به تنهایی استفاده می‌کنیم و در این صورت به جای fewer از less استفاده می‌کنیم.

✅ If I had eaten one less cake yesterday I would have one less reason to feel guilty.
