از عباراتها زمانی استفاده میکنیم که میخواهیم بگیم یک چیز چه طوری به نظر میاد و میشه
(“انگار”یا “مثل اینکه” ) ترجمشون کرد. like غیر رسمی تره.

✅ It looks as if(or as though or like)it’s going to rain

📘به نظر میرسه انگار قراره بارون بیاد.

نکته:بعد از عبارات بالا هم میشه زمان حال استفاده کرد و هم گذشته ولی در هر دو حالت جمله در مورد زمان حال صحبت میکنه.فرقشون اینه که وقتی زمان گذشته استفاده کنیم,جمله ای که میگیم نمیتونه واقعی باشه.به مثالهای زیر توجه کنید .

✅ She looks as if she is rich

📕به نظر میرسه پولدار باشه.

(احتمالش هست که واقعا پول دار باشه.برای همین زمان حال بعد از as if به کار بردیم)

✅ She talks as if he was rich
📘یه جور صحبت میکنه که انگار پولداره.
(در اینجا میدونیم که طرف پولدار نیست برای همین زمان گذشته استفاده کردیم)

✅ “to get through”
استفاده می شود که به معنی
"برقراری ارتباط"، "ارتباط کسی را با جایی برقرار کردن"
به مثال ذیر توجه کنید:

سعی می کنم با بخش فروش ارتباط برقرار کنم.

استفاده می شود.

✅Definition :If a part of your body is numb, you are unable to feel it, usually for a short time.

✅یکی از کاربرد های کلمه numb به عنوان صفت:
کلمه "numb" چند کاربرد دارد؛ یکی از کاربردهای این کلمه مفهوم "بی حسی" را بیان می کند، بی حسی ای که در نقطه ای از بدن مثلا بی حسی پا ها یا دست ها مثلا به دلیل نشستن طولانی مدت در یک وضعیت ثابت بوجود می آید.
