Al-Thawra and Suwayda 24 report, three traders from Houla were kidnapped to pressure authorities into releasing, “Ahad al-Atrash.” jailed in Jaramana. The kidnapper, Atrash’s father, claimed it was a “misunderstanding” and agreed to release the men after mediation by locals.
Ahmad al-Sulaiman, the Ministry of Energy spokesman, said the ministry referred an employee to the judiciary after a leaked audio recording was found glorifying Assad and Israeli bombings and insulting Islam.
