Armed men in Suwayda abducted three young traders from Houla, Homs countryside. Internal Security forces are following up as efforts are underway to secure their release. The motive behind the kidnapping remains unclear.

Al-Thawra and Suwayda 24 report, three traders from Houla were kidnapped to pressure authorities into releasing, “Ahad al-Atrash.” jailed in Jaramana. The kidnapper, Atrash’s father, claimed it was a “misunderstanding” and agreed to release the men after mediation by locals.
