↟ Fjällkor – Preservation of our Native Scandinavian Species ↟

Fjällkon har funnits i Norrland i 2000 år och är den ursprungliga norrländska kon. De delar ursprung med de första korna som kom från Nordnorge till Island på 900-talet. Fjällkon har formats av vårt karga klimat här i Norden, betat skogarna runt fäbodarna och gett våra förfäder mjölk och kött genom årtusenden.

Fjällkon är hornlös och kännetecknas med vit päls med rödbruna eller svarta fläckar. Fjällkon är mindre än de flesta andra koraser, stark och tålig och väger cirka 450kg. Jämför man fjällkons mjölk med andra raser är ostutbytet per kg mjölk nästan dubbelt så stort. Det går endast åt 7–8 kg fjällkomjölk för att få 1 kg ost, jämfört med 14–16 kg mjölk från de kommersiella koraserna.

One of Sweden's oldest and most valuable ancient monuments, a 3,500-year-old Bronze Age burial cairn in Junkboda outside Skellefteå, is now set to be brutally destroyed to make way for the new Norrbotnia railway line.

During a preliminary investigation, the burial chamber was discovered—a space large enough for a human, enclosed by massive stone slabs and covered with rounded stones, the classic hallmark of a burial cairn.

Now, this invaluable monument is about to be erased...
And this is just the beginning. The burial cairn is far from the only victim of this ruthless infrastructure project.

Hundreds of ancient remains have already been identified as "obstacles to construction", and more will meet the same fate.
Our history is being erased and our cultural heritage is obliterated, all in the name of efficiency and exploitation.

Deliberately destroying our history and cultural heritage is not just a disgrace—it is a scandal! We have a duty to protect what remains of our ancestors’ legacy, not level it to the ground. Sacrificing our ancient monuments for modern expansion is an insult to both our history and future generations.

Music: Heilung - Alfadhirhaiti. Heilung is a Nordic folk music projekt that is mainly based on texts and runic inscriptions from our Germanic forefathers from the Iron Age and the Viking Age. Heilung therefore often use the Old Norse language in their songs, and the word 'Heilung' is a German noun meaning 'healing' in English.

Heilung will do several shows here in Scandinavia during March this year, and later on also in Europe.

↟ The Heritage of our Ancestors ↟

This magnificent rune stone named Hovgårdsstenen (The Håkon stone) with signum U 11, is placed by the ancient harbor bay, below the ruins of Hovgården on Adelsö here in Sweden. It is located so that incoming boats and ships could clearly see the rune stone, and on the other side of the water is Birka, one of our oldest Swedish communities. The rune stone can be dated back to the time before 1080.

Rune stones and ancient sites are protected by law here in Scandinavia. Rune stones was often carved in memorial of a dead or fallen family member, and many stones are also erected and carved in memory of a road, a bridge building or after seafaring Vikings.

↟ Solarcross – The Sun is Rising ↟

This is a weather phenomenon so called 'Halo', that appeared in Vemdalen, Sweden in 2017 the 27th of December. When ice crystals in the atmosphere interact with sunlight in a certain way this incredible phenomenon can appear in the sky, like a sign from above. This particular Halo is very rare as it is surrounded by a 22-degree circle with two bi-suns + an upper tangent arc. Ice crystals in the form of long prisms also give rise to the vertical and horizontal rays that seem to emanate from the sun. You can also see the more unusual 46-degree circle furthest away.

This weather phenomenon can be the foundation of the solarcross symbol, and it's very likely that our Germanic and European ancestors have seen the very same phenomenon, embraced it into their culture and thus passed it on to the next generations 🜨
