Just watched a 4hr 40min podcast about Johnny Kim and my brain still can’t process how he did all he did.
Raised by an abusive dad who nearly shot him and his mom... became a Navy SEAL at 18, sniper and medic, served in real wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and earned a Silver Star. Left the military at 24, studied math, got into Harvard Med School, became a doctor. Then joined NASA, became an astronaut ... all before turning 36. And now, at 41, he just launched to the ISS on a real mission aboard Soyuz MS-27.
And the dude’s still humble as hell. He said: “I’m not smarter or stronger than anyone. I just stick to the plan and don’t quit.”
That hit deep.
Heard about him back in high school from a friend but never really looked into it till now. This podcast blew my mind. Crazy life. Crazy discipline. Seriously, go watch it. I learned a lot.

One of the greatest math-related movies fr. Based on the true story of Ramanujan, the man who discovered wild formulas in number theory, infinite series, and made breakthroughs in partitions and mock theta functions, all straight from his intuition. Saw it back in grade 10 and it’s still in my top movies list. Highly recommended 🧠🔥

Money can buy you happiness sure ... new stuff, fun trips, good food. But joy? Never. Happiness fades. It depends on your situation. Joy stays. It’s deeper. It lives on purpose, peace, and love. You don’t buy joy. Because this world is more than material things ... It’s about meaning.
