PineTab2 and Star64 at our FOSDEM stall :)
Hello everyone, here is the much anticipated February community update. I know that there hasn’t been an update for quite some time but I believe that the Febuary news more than makes up for it. Here is what we have for you: A quick FOSDEM retrospect; community Q&A on March 17th at 20:00 CET; countless amazing topics covered in Newsflash; PineTab2 comes in two SKUs and starts at $159 (!!!) - and I share my impressions of the hardware and software; Star64 will be available in March (or early April) and priced well to drive adoption; crazy amount of progregress on the PinePhone - the Pro in particular - and Biktorgj is woking magic on the modem; PineTime has 30 pull requests already merged for next release and a new companion app; and much (oh so much) more. Enjoy!

Hello! We will have quarterly Q&A tomorrow, Friday 17. March 2023, at 20:10 CEST. You can head over to q-and-a group (https://www.tg-me.com/pine64QA) and ask your questions, which we will answer live. We will be in Discord Stage, but we will stream the Q&A also to YouTube and PeerTube. We are looking forward for your questions!
(Note: We will post YouTube and PeerTube links 15 minutes before start of the stream).
Hello Everyone!
We’ve got something truly special for you this month: Star64 launches on April 4th in two LPDDR4 RAM configurations - 4GB RAM $69.99 /8GB RAM $89.99. The PineTab2 and PineTab-V launch simultaneously, for the same price (starting at $159) and will be available for pre-order on April 11th. Seriously. The PineNote development has really taken off in recent months and developers have much to show for their efforts. We also have a sizable Newsflash section for you, with news ranging from community Ubuntu Touch becoming available on the PinePhone Pro to an Petlier module active cooling solution modded into the Pinebook Pro.
There’s unicorns and fairydust too, so enjoy: https://www.pine64.org/2023/04/01/march-update-tablet-bonanza/
The chassis of the PineTab-V (the first RISC-V tablet) will be black to differentiate it from from the Arm-based PineTab2 available in silver-gray.
Hope you like it :)
