Adult Nephrology Fellowship Graduates of St. Paul's Hospital Millennium Medical College, 2025

On March 30, 2025, the African Federation of Clinical Chemistry (AFCC) and Snibe Diagnostics officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Shenzhen, China. The agreement was formalized by Snibe Vice President Ms. Lucy Liu and AFCC President Dr. Gizachew Taddesse Akalu of St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College.

This groundbreaking collaboration aims to elevate clinical laboratory services, drive innovation in diagnostic technologies, and improve access to advanced healthcare solutions across Africa. By strengthening healthcare systems, the partnership promises to bring cutting-edge advancements to the forefront of medical care on the continent.

AFCC, the leading voice for laboratory professionals in Africa, continues to advocate for the advancement of education and harmonization in clinical chemistry. This partnership marks a significant milestone in enhancing healthcare delivery across the region.

የቅዱስ ጳውሎስ ሆስፒታል ሚሊኒየም ህክምና ኮሌጅ በተለያዩ የትምህርት ዘርፎች ያሰለጠናቸውን ተማሪዎች አስመረቀ

ኮሌጁ በተለያዩ የትምህርት ዘርፎች ያሰለጠናቸውን 312 ተማሪዎች ዛሬ በሸራተን አዲሰ አስመረቀ።

ኮሌጁ ለ12ኛ ጊዜ 195 ወንድ እና 117 ሴት በድምሩ 312 ተማሪዎችን ነው ያስመረቀው።

ተመራቂ ተማሪዎቹ በህክምና ቅድመ ምርቃ፣ በ17 የስፔሻሊቲ፣ በ10 ሰብ ስፔሻሊቲ እና በስድስት የማስተርስ ፕሮግራሞች ትምህርታቸውን የተከታተሉ ናቸው።

በምረቃ ሥነሥርዐቱ ላይ የተገኙት የጤና ሚኒስትርዋ ዶክተር መቅደስ ዳባ ባደረጉት ንግግር ተመራቂዎች በሰለጠኑበት የሙያ ዘርፍ ህብረተሰቡን በማገልገል የድርሻቸውን እንዲወጡ አሳስበዋል።

ወላጆች ምን ይላሉ?

በዛሬው በሁለተኛ ደረጃ በእጅግከፍተኛ ማዕረግ የተመረቀችው የዶር ሐሴት ወላጆች ስለ ልጃቸው እንዲህይላሉ::

ልጃችን ሐሴት ከልጅነቷ ጀምሮ ጎበዝ ተሸላሚ ተማሪ ነች::ከዚህም በተጨማሪም ቤተሰቦቿን የምትወድ እ
ና የምትታዘዝ ልጅ ናት::
ሐሴት እዚህ እንድትደርስ እንዲሁም ምትፈልገውን ትምህርት እንድትማር ከእግዚአብሔር በታች እንደ ወላጅ በቻልነው አቅም አግዘናታል:: ለወላጆች ማለት የምንፈልገው ልጆቻቸዉ የሚፈልጉትን አና ዝንባሌያቸው የሆነዉን ነገር እንዲያሳድጉ ያበረታቷቸው:: ልጆቻቸው ህክምና እየተማሩ ያሉ ወላጆች ደግሞ ትምህርቱ ፈታኝ በመሆኑ ልጆቻቸውን በቻሉት አቅም እንዲከታተሏቸው እንዲሁም የማያቋርጥ የስነ ልቦና ድጋፍ አንዲያደርጉ እንመክራለን::
በመጨረሻም ለሁሉም ተመራቂዎች እንኳን ደስ አላችሁ ፤በቀረው ጊዜያችሁ መልካም ነገሮች እንዲያጋጥማችሁ እንመኛለን::

Dr. Hony, the gold medalist, has completed her medical education with great distinction. Her parents commented as follows:

What kind of child was she?

-Honey has always been a curious, determined, and hardworking child. One peculiar thing we remember from her childhood was her compassion and her sociability with those around her.

What challenges did she face in medical school, and how did you help her?

-Medical school was demanding both academically and emotionally. The heavy workload, long hours, and high expectations were challenging. At times, she felt overwhelmed and exhausted. We supported her by encouraging her, and reminding her of her strength.

What advice do you have for other
parents whose kids are in med school?

-Be patient and supportive. Medical school is tough, and your child will go through stressful periods. Encourage them, check in on them, pray for them and remind them that they are capable.
