Hi there! This is an open letter to whoever it is that keeps giving me stars, since I don't know who you are and can't message you directly.

I just wanted you to know that I'm not receiving any of the stars you're sending in my star balance. I so appreciate the gesture, but wanted to let you know that you may be wasting your money.

I LOVE my new neighbors. Particularly Mr. and Mrs. Nextdoor.

My mom is visiting, and she wanted to spend time while she's here working on my backyard. My flower bed is in rough shape. It's been neglected for at least a couple of years and was completely overgrown with weeds.

There's also jasmine, and it's really pretty when it's flowering, and she suggested we train it to grow on the fence, but I wanted to make sure I checked with the neighbors that I share a fence with, since it will inevitably spill over onto their side.

Mr. Nextdoor was concerned about the hibiscus trees that were growing next to my fence. They were planted close enough to the fence that I could see them causing problems at some point. He asked if I wanted him to come over with his tree saw to cut them down. I told him that would be great.

So he and his wife came over and my mom got to meet them, which I was very pleased about. They're my favorite neighbors, and I know it gives my mom a lot of peace to know that I have such wonderful people right nextdoor looking out for me.
