There was a beaded frame at the antique mall that I almost got but didn't. I may have to go back for it.

That happened with the rainbow crochet throw I have on my red velvet couch (I'll get a picture of that tomorrow... I'm in bed now). I saw it at the same antique mall, thought about buying it but didn't, couldn't get it out of my head and had to go back for it.

If you're in the OKC area, the Three Strands Antique mall on NW Expressway. Lots of really fun stuff, well curated, and for the most part pretty reasonably priced compared to other antique malls I've been to.

I got a couple other decor items today that I'll get pictures of. Also a couple pairs of earrings.

I'm not a spendy person. Part of the adventure for me is getting cool shit and not paying too much for it. I love a good, thrifty deal.

The hot pink gnome in the picture above? I think I paid $1 for it. And it's cool as fuck.

I'm also currently obsessed with orange. There were several things I passed up today, because I already have a lot of orange.

(I have to admit I'm feeling a little homesick.)

I had a budget in mind for the major purchases for my house. Washer, dryer, and some furniture. I haven't even spent half of what I budgeted. I'm very pleased with myself.

OSHA would not have approved of what I had to do to get this art hung.

The ducks have been temporarily removed while I get other art hung, but museum wax has been acquired and soon they will be a (semi) permanent fixture on my little ledge.

When I was laying in bed at night dreaming about how I would decorate I didn't even think of the inside walls of the staircase, but now that I'm here it's so obvious.

I have a serious weakness for crocheted blankets and throws. I nearly bought a gorgeous floral one yesterday, but it was damaged.

I also have a weakness for pitchers. I've got space above my kitchen cabinets.........

I will truly feel like I have failed in life if I get to the end and don't have a killer estate sale.

I have this table set up in my living room where all my decorative items are going after I unbox them. Then I get to shop from my own table when I'm decorating. Super fun.
