Did Jesus even know about us?
The Bible doesn’t mention a single Germanic tribe!
However there were German slaves in the Levant and Herod Agrippa II, king of Judea, knew all about Germany according to his words recorded by Hebrew historian Josephus 9 years after they were spoken in 66 AD
“What do you (Jews) hope for? Are you wealthier than the Gauls, stronger than the Germans, or wiser than the Greeks? Are you more numerous than any other population? What gives you the confidence to oppose the Romans? (...) Which of you have not heard how vast the German population is?
You have certainly seen for yourselves how tall and strong the Germans are, since the Romans make use of them as captives in every place. These Germans occupy an immense country, and they have minds superior to their bodies. They have a spirit that despises death and a rage fiercer than wild beasts. But the Rhine is the limit of their enterprises, and they are held in place by eight Roman legions. The Germans who have been taken captive have become servants of the Romans. The rest of their nation have preserved themselves by fleeing conflict with Rome.”

The Angles served in the Cornuti unit of the Roman army and this was their banner emblazoned on shields. It appears on sword scabbards and such in Anglian bog deposits of the 4th century.
The double raven motif became a pan-Germanic sign used by Goths in Spain and Ukraine, Lombards in Italy and was still used by Vikings in the 11th century

This early Indo-European culture, the Single Grave Culture in the ancestral lands of the Anglo-Saxons, is ancestral to all Celtic and Germanic peoples.
See thread to learn how it relates to the Bell Beaker culture and earlier Corded Ware

Charles Darwin, Thomas Henry Huxley, Aleister Crowley, Thomas Taylor, Percy Bysshe Shelley, Edward Herbert of Cherbury, Anthony Collins, Christopher Marlowe, Thomas Hobbes, Edward Gibbon (?), Thomas Paine, John Stuart Mill
These deists, atheists, agnostics, platonists and occultists of the last 500 years are all English.
How then can Englishness be said to be contingent on Christianity?
Christianity is an important part of English history that cannot be denied, but people who try and depict it as the essential, defining characteristic of Englishness are being dishonest.

There is an urban myth that the English are "more Brythonic Celt than Anglo-Saxon" which comes from misrepresentation of admixture averages across regions.
So I made this (rather ugly) map to show which regions of England are majority Germanic and which are majority IA British.
Note: I did not acknowledge the widespread French ancestry that is also in England
Anglos reacc:
🐳 if you are majority Brythonic
⚡️If you are majority Germanic
🤷🏼if equal amounts

Comparative mythology ands folklore reveals an ancient Indo-European anxiety about snakes stealing milk. The erroneous belief that snakes like milk is widespread from Europe to India! https://survivethejive.blogspot.com/2018/05/the-milk-drinking-serpent.html
Stockholm University Press has published a new book on Indo-European ecologies, citing my work on milk drinking serpents and you're blackpilling?

Just finished off this gilt bronze prototype of an interesting Anglo Saxon harness pendant from Dorset. Very similar to the WAINE type mounts but I really like the vicious jaws at the bottom. Very Woden wolf cult kind of thing along with the two typically Saxon ravens.

I commissioned the expert Bronze Age sword smith Neil Burridge to forge this replica of the Huntshaw dagger from Darracott moor in Huntshaw, Devon. The largest barrow in the grave field has a road going straight over it. Read more… survivethejive.blogspo…
I went to Exeter today to see the original Huntshaw dagger which I own a replica of - as shown in my recent film about Bronze Age Britain
