Best written villain

For me Klaus and Katherine were the best villains introduced in the show. Katherine's tease in the first season built her entrance. The flashbacks from 1864 and the mystery behind her intentions were very well written and paved a great introduction for her character. Her schemening and deception were top notch and her Elena impersonation was so good fooled also the audience.

Klaus was teased in the same way, but this fear of meeting him and see who is reached me. The Alaric possesion was not expected but really entertaining episodes. And I also like that Klaus was not a villain that they were able to defeat properly, cause he is the ultimate hybrid, logic. But they only passed by deceiving him, lying, buying time and after all Klaus what he wanted but decided not to kill all of them and after a while he just left to New Orleans.

Elena Gilbert - Journalist.

Elena Gilbert should have become a journalist.

1. In season 1 she tells Stefan that she used to want to be a writer but she’s not sure anymore since her parents died.
2. She is always writing in her journal.
3. She’s is good at investigating.
1. And she asks questions and doesn’t give up until she has the answers.
1. With Rose
2. With Rebekah.
4. Being a doctor came out of nowhere and barely makes since. She’s never shown to be a good student. The type of student who could succeed in a field like medicine even though two years of their high school were severely disrupted.
1. Compel yourself a high school diploma is one thing but that doesn’t mean you can pass College Bio.
1. The should have shown her getting help.
2. She couldn’t afford to have a fun freshman year. She needed to study.
5. Season 5 could have been the start of this. The Augustine was the perfect place for her to realise that she wanted to be a journalist, that she likes to investigate thing.
1. The link to her dad could have also explored a part of her the show sort of brushes over. We know that she feels grief about her parents deaths. But now she know he dad was involved in Augustine and knew she was a doppelgänger and wasn’t her biological father. Like how does she feel about this things.

I don't know why Caroline become a journalist. She should have gone into Theatre production or corporate management.

Did Bonnie even have a job. Or a desire to be something other than the resident witch. Probably not.
