Rewatching season 5_
In episode 3, first meeting with Damon, she’s sympathetic, because he and she are in the same position… obstacles standing between fated love… or at least I thought so at first….
In episode 5, Damon comes to make a deal with her, she’s making the same faces a cat makes when it’s hungry, walking like she’s holding pee…. I am pretty sure she had a thing for Damon.
Come to think of it, Stefan attacked her to save Elena and she retaliated by returning his memories which was excruciatingly painful, and he was to love with the horrors of his past life forever. Damon attacks her to Save his brother. She does nothing.
Someone who never forget to deliver punishment, she just lets Damon go…. Yes, am sure she likes him.

Like maybe it's a stupid question but I'm curious af, so vampires are technically dead humans, so shouldn't the cure to vampirism just turn them back to their normal state that is well literally being dead.
