Elena’s attitude towards Lily

This is annoying me so much, first of all Damon hasn’t seen his mother in centuries since he thought she was dead, she HAD to insert herself into their meeting…. What really annoys me is how she side-eyes Damon constantly for not immediately being warm towards Lily. “She’s your mother” “you gotta give her a chance” like you gave a chance to John? 😭 he’s your bio dad after all! Yet no one was bugging her over her attitude towards him lol

Unpopular opinion: I don't like Bonnie

Okay, I know this is going to be controversial, but I’ve never really been a fan of Bonnie. Don’t get me wrong, she’s powerful and always saves everyone, but sometimes it feels like the show gives her too much credit or importance. Some of her decisions and storylines just didn’t make sense to me, and I found her kind of frustrating at times.

I know a lot of people love her, so I’m curious – what do you all think? Am I missing something, or does anyone else feel the same?

When did Klaus ever put Caroline first?

I always see people on Youtube or Tiktok claim that unlike Caroline's other men Klaus put her first and was the 1 who always chose her but thoughtout the show he always put himself, his family and his own survival first? He repeatedly committed violence against Caroline's friends, manipulated situations for his benefit and even when he helped her, it came with strings attached.

Of course their chemistry is AMAZING and I love them, especially their friendship growth. She was someone he cared about in his own twisted way, but his goals or even his revenge on others came far first. He even put her in danger despite claiming to fancy her.

I can't remember when or any scenes where he ever put her first or before his goals like even his "nice" gestures came at a price like with Tyler

- When Caroline begs him not to kill Tyler, he spares him and lets him live but letting Tyler live wasn’t a true sacrifice, he already ruined his life and Klaus “indulging” Caroline, throwing her a bone after causing devastation and still murdered Tyler's entire pack.

- When Caroline is dying he "saves her" but is the cause of him she was suffering in the first place

- During graduation he tells Caroline he wants her to have the life she deserves and that he'll be her "last love." but again, this is words more than actions he doesn't change his behavior or priorities for her and goes after his goals

I'm only on season 1 right now and I know Stefan said that he is 17, or that is how old he appears. How old do the other characters think Damon is? Cause he is clearly seen as an adult and I know that he is older than Stefan, I'm just wondering if there is an exact number or at least an estimate
