How is Klaus chasing Katherine for 500 years even debated at this point?

I swear, I do not understand how this even became an argument in the TVD fandom.



Klaus literally says, “I’ve searched for you for over 500 years… your death is going to last at least half that long.” (2x18)

That’s not speculation, that’s not theory, that’s canon straight from Klaus’ own mouth people act like because we didn’t see any flashbacks, it somehow didn’t happen.


By that logic, Stefan never stalked Elena for months none of the vampires’ crimes happened unless we saw them the entire show collapses if off-screen events don’t count.

Then there’s the argument that because the Originals were running from Mikael, Klaus didn’t “have time” to chase her be serious klaus is exactly the kind of delusional, arrogant person who would juggle both running from Mikael while obsessively hunting the girl he thinks “ruined” his curse he expected her to lay down and die of course he was petty enough to chase her.



People also love bringing up his line in 4x16 to Hayley about how sometimes letting his victims think he’s after them is better than killing them… except that was about Tyler, not Katherine.
Not every victim gets the same treatment tyler didn’t destroy Klaus’ plan to finally break his curse Katherine did. Breaking the curse was Klaus’ #1 obsession for half a millennium why would he suddenly chill out when it comes to the woman he believes "betrayed" him on the one thing he cared about more than anything besides killing Mikael It makes zero sense to apply his Tyler philosophy universally especially not to Katherine.


As for Rebekah and Elena finding Katherine in a day plot convenience or Katherine slipped up either way, it doesn’t contradict what Klaus himself confirmed.


Also I know he didn't chase her 24/7 he had people doing it just as much but that still doesn't contradict him saying he also chased her over the centuries .


The show never disproves it Klaus explicitly states it, nothing contradicts him.

Why is this still a debate?

Ever felt like doing humanity switch off?

Sometimes it gets so overwhelming that I wish I had that power to just switch off my humanity. so that the pain could go away. But it has also helped me respect my emotions more.
The messy, crying, laughing, anger thats what makes me human. The phases of greif we have to go through. :))
TVD has taught me to accept and respect my emotions.

Does anyone else find the Katherine love a little unbelievable? I can respect her never turning her humanity off but she was simply a horrible person, sparing a few instances, right till the end. Do I even need to go into the details? She wasn’t even an anti hero but a straight up villain. so this is SPECIFICALLY if you hate Damon with Elena and think she is irredeemable for dating Damon but also ship Bamon at the same time.

why? why is Damon irredeemable with Elena but Bonnie somehow deserves that? and if it's the "Bonnie held him accountable" excuse save it bc no she didn't. They only got close because they were 2/3 of the only people in the world. After they got out Damon went back to compulsively killing people when he got his feelings hurt and couldn't care less about Bonnies feelings (ex: freeing Kai)

Elena and Matt were both in the car underwater. Elena told Stefan to save Matt. He did. I get it that Stefan can't pick up two people and swim from the water but technically he could. Elena was conscious unlike Matt, she could grab onto him and Stefan could swim with two people or Stefan could just swim fast and be back for Elena right away. I know that he isn't an Aquaman though...

First time watcher on Season 3

Watching it for the first time ever and I dont understand why everyone is crazy over Stefan 😭 me personally I would’ve chosen Damon any day lol.
