- Seed oils interfere with oxidative metabolism, lowering energy production and wrecking mitochondria

- Candida overgrowth is a result of low metabolic energy, not direct microbiome disruption

- Obesity isn’t a detox buffer but a sign that energy production is blocked and stress metabolism is dominant

- If you fix thyroid function and restore metabolism then the body has the energy to clean up candida and stop being fat

I think this is an important nuance and distinction else you get people with fucked up metabolism to do some kind of insane parasite cleanse that will only weaken the metabolism even more and make the candida even worse.

The implications of this are crazy if true: The first set has the most hypertrophy stimulus, you’d need 5 more sets to match the stimulus of the first set.
I’m proud of being a life long natural. But I also did waste a lot of time with sub optimal programs.

I did high intensity training for a few years, Mentzer style. Then in 2020 I started doing a high intensity, HIGH VOLUME bro split, Kellet style. Eventually I got stuck and barely grew. Didn’t really enjoy training anymore either.

I’ve recently switched to a full body, HIGH FREQUENCY, low volume split. I’ll have to give it some more time before I can measure the progress. But I can say… This is probably the most flexible, effective and peat-friendly way of training for hypertrophy I’ve experienced thus far.
