🏴🏴 Advice from Ayatullah Tahriri regarding Muharram and Azadari (2 of 2)
🔰 Our gatherings to commemorate this month should be established in accordance with the various teachings of the Ahlul-Bayt. They should be a display of complete love while at the same time adhering to the various religions and ethical responsibilities.
❗️ We must not display an action to the enemies that would make them happy. They would be happy with us not being on the path of Imam al-Ḥusayn (a), with us carrying out actions that do not befit the status of gatherings of Imam al-Ḥusayn (a).
❗️We must pay attention to the following: what is it that the enemy would encourage, especially in these gatherings?
❗️ We must not commit actions that would result in the disgrace of the Shi'ah, actions that have no place in the Shari'ah and have even been forbidden by the great maraji' of taqlid, especially Ayatullah Khamenei and Imam Khomeini.
❗️ We must foster unity by believing in the creed and goal of Imam al-Ḥusayn (a), by displaying complete attachment to him, crying, performing ma'tam and mourning, and explaining the oppressions carried out from the dawn of Islam until this day.
❗️ We must enlighten our gatherings with these matters and continuously seek help from the holy Imam that we sincerely remain on the path of his wilayah and his love until the end of our lives.

🌻 Ayatullah Tahriri:
🏴🏴 If we look at the events of Karbala, apart from the tragedy that took place there, we will find a magnificent valley of the manifestation of tawhid. If we analyze this event properly, we will see that level of absolute humility before Allah manifest itself with the martyrdom of Imam Husayn - this absolute level of humility was manifested until Imam Husayn's very last moments, when he put his face on the ground and said:

🌻 Ayatullah Tahriri:
🏴🏴 It says in a tradition:
«إنَّ لِقَتْلِ الْحُسَيْنِ حَرَارَةً فِى قُلُوبِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ»
"Certainly with regards to the killing of Hussain (a), there exists a heat in the believers’ hearts."
The martyrdom of Imam Hussain (a) has kindled a special kind of warmth in the hearts of believers, such that whenever they remember him, this fire is reignited. This is a result of the special connection that Imam Hussain (a) had with Allah, and he gave us a glimpse of this connection [through his actions], and afterwards, this [path] was continued by his family.

🏴🏴 The duas narrated from Imam Hussain (a) on the day of Ashura demonstrate that he manifested the complete reality of “attention towards Allah”. At the beginning of the day of Ashura, he said:
«اَللَّهُمَّ أنتَ ثِقَتِى فِى كُلِّ كَربٍ...»
_"O my Allah, You are my support in every distress..."_

*Minor Sins: The Basis for Greater Sins (Part 1)*
In this whispered prayer (munājāt), Imam Sajjad (a) informs us of the multiple effects of sins in three stages. He (a) warns us that whenever our souls incline towards satanic or animalistic desires, right away, we should pay attention to these negative effects of sins, and be aware that the result of acting upon these desires is the (spiritual) death of our hearts.
Of course, in the presence of God, committing any sin, big or small, is a grave offense, because He is the Superior Being, and the smallest sin before such greatness and magnanimity is a crime and treachery.
The Prophet (s) says:
*لَا تَنْظُرُوا إِلَى صِغَرِ الذَّنْبِ وَ لَكِنِ انْظُرُوا إِلَى مَنِ اجْتَرَأْتُم*
_"Do not look at the smallness of the sin; rather, look against whom you have had the audacity (to disobey)."_
In another tradition, he (s) says:
*إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ لَيَرَى ذَنْبَهُ كَأَنَّهُ صَخْرَةٌ يَخَافُ أَنْ تَقَعَ عَلَيْهِ وَ إِنَّ الْكَافِرَ يَرَى ذَنْبَهُ كَأَنَّهُ ذُبَابٌ مَرَّ عَلَى أَنْفِه*
_"Certainly, the believer sees his sin as if it is a boulder, which he is afraid will fall on him; whereas, the disbeliever sees his sin as if it is a fly that passed by his nose."_
The Qur’an and the traditions categorize sins into minor and greater, and the effects of each sin - in this world and the next - are described to us. However, in the aforementioned traditions, the Prophet (s) wants us to increase in our understanding of the Absolute Greatness of Allah. The more our understanding of God’s greatness and the signs of His existence increases, and we realise the immense blessings that God has endowed upon us, our audacity to disobey God lessens.
The Prophet (s) says:
*إِنَّ إِبْلِيسَ رَضِيَ مِنْكُمْ بِالْمُحَقَّرَاتِ وَ الذَّنْبُ الَّذِي لَا يُغْفَرُ قَوْلُ الرَّجُلِ لَا أُؤَاخَذُ بِهَذَا الذَّنْبِ اسْتِصْغَاراً لَهُ*
_"Certainly, Satan is satisfied with you because of small sins, since sins that are not forgiven are those about which the sinner says, I will not be reprimanded for this sin due to its smallness.”_

🔰Advices of Ayatullah Tahriri (h) for utilization from the spirituality of the month of Ramadan
✅1. Focusing upon the sins; purifying the body parts from different types of sins
✅2. To have a lovable relationship with the Qur’an
✅3. To recite the daily duas of the month of Ramadan
✅4. Seeking forgiveness during the whole month
✅5. Attending to the need of the needy and giving charity (sadaqa)
✅6. Participating in religious gathering of remembrance and spiritual advice; such as speeches or lectures
✅7. Praying for the relief and release of problems and difficulties of all Muslims , particularly at the time of iftaar (breaking the fast) and during the sahar and also dua for the relief and release of the Imam Zaman (ta’jil fi faraj)
✅8. Prayers (dua) for the destruction of the enemies of Islam and for the long life with blessings for our Leader

🌹While focusing upon the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and also narrations; the month of Ramadan is the best of the month in which God prepares different means and ways for His servants to connect to Him in a very special way. We find in a narration that, “ during the days of your life there are some (special) effusions from God, O men beware of them and make use of them” and in reality the month of Ramadan is one of that kind of ‘special effusion’ from God.
🌷Man must focus upon the Sacred (‘alam quds) realm and angelic (malakuti) realm and must follow it up and utilize it to the best way possible and if he really follow it properly then other unique type of unveiling or understanding will be provided to him from God the Supreme and this will open/ enlighten his heart.

🔰It is commendable that the Mu’mineen (believers) act according to the teachings and advice of the saints (awliya), hence do focus upon the points mention below during the Nights of Qadr
✔️1. Understanding the greatness of the Night of Qadr; that actions (‘Amaal) with sincerity (ikhlas) in this night is equivalent to doing them for a 1000 months or more
✔️2. Rectifying the affairs in relation to the ‘rights of God’ and ‘rights of people’
✔️3. A strong determination to make future actions inline with the servitude to God
✔️4. Supplications (duas), seeking the forgiveness of Mu’mineen (believers) and also attending to their needs in this world and the next
✔️5. Dua for the faraj (relief and release) of the Imam of our time (aj) and the health (‘afiyah) of all believers (Mu’mineen)
