How AOT could have been published weekly ?
Hello, I am very interested in the creative process behind writing a manga, so I looked into Isayama's past and learned that he had tried to get AoT published in Jump magazine before finally turning to Bessatsu, which accepted his manga without the conditions imposed by Jump.
My question is this: how is it possible that Isayama, who knew almost the entire story of his manga and was certainly aware that it would be quite dense and very plot-driven, could have submitted his work to Jump, which is a WEEKLY magazine? It's certain that he knew AoT required monthly publication, so how could he have wanted to publish it weekly? I think that even if Jump hadn't imposed changes on his work and he had been given carte blanche, AoT would not have been the same work at all.
Of course, I know you don't know the answer; you're not inside his head, but at least some hypotheses?
