Permissions to leave reactions

In current Beta versions of the Telegram apps a user can leave reactions even if they are in read-only mode and are limited from sending messages in the chat.

There are no individual settings for leaving reactions for now. The only options to limit somebody from sending reactions are disabling this feature for everyone or kicking the user from the chat.
New Last Actions filter on Telegram for macOS

Beta version of Telegram for macOS now lets you spot which administrator made a post on a channel. For this, a new "Send Messages" filter was added.

Currently, the filter is not functioning.

New reactions: "😁" and "😒"

In Telegram for iOS and Telegram for macOS Beta, the old laughing and crying reactions were replaced by the new two. Most likely, previous emojis were similar to each other, that could confuse users.

Messages that contains spoilers will not be supported in older versions of applications.

Updated QR Codes

In Telegram for Android Beta, anyone can generate QR codes for public and private links of groups and channels β€” just click on the QR icon, that is located next to the link.

Also, you can choose one of the eight prepared designs for QR-code.

Improved timecodes

In Telegram for iOS Beta, the timeline in the video with timecodes is now divided into blocks.

To give a name to a video fragment, you need to write it in one line with the timecode. The name of the fragment being played will be under the timeline.

Telegram Desktop has been updated to version 3.3.2 Beta

What's new:
β€” Select text when typing and choose 'Formatting > Spoiler' in the context menu to hide some or all of the contents of a message.
β€” Click on the spoiler in chat to reveal its hidden text.
β€” Spoiler formatting hides text in chat, as well as in the chat list and notifications.
β€” The "Who read the message" button has been moved to the bottom of the message context menu.
