Lesson 10 Daawa

فإن أصدق الحديث كلام الله و خير الهدي هدي محمد صلى الله عليه و سلم و شر الأمور محدثاتها و كل محدثة بدعة وكل بدعة ضلالة و كل ضلالة في النار

• The worst of the matters in our religion is the innovations ; each innovation can be a misguide and each misguide can lead us to the hellfireوالعياذ بالله

There are a lot of blessings on our way in our day( in every minute, in every second), there are a lot of blessings from Allah Azza wa Jall . So, whatever calamity and tests come in the way, we always need to remember the blessings that Allah granted us and we should remember the hadith mentioned today that the average we are going to live from sixty to seventy years (more or less), and with some calculations we will be really coming out with few years. Whether we go to Jannah or hellfire

• Right? And you do not realize this نعمة blessing

• Right ?So, think about all these blessings that we talked about today( all these نِعَم

• Right ? There are people, as we speak, they worship cows and rats,and others worship their own desires, right?أَفَرَأَيْتَ مَنِ اتَّخَذَ إِلَٰهَهُ هَوَاهُ Allah says:" Have you seen the one who takes his own desire as his god ?" And that is what is happening right now around us

• هو حديث عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه اخرجه الترمذي و ابن ماجه قال :" قال رسول الله صلى الله وعليه وسلم: أَعْمَارُ أُمَّتِي مَا بَيْنَ السِّتِّينَ إِلَى السَّبْعِينَ، وَأَقَلُّهُمْ مَنْ يَجُوزُ ذَلِكَ

• " أو كما قال صلى الله عليه وسلمIn this Hadith, Rasoul Allah Sala Allah alyh wa Salam said that the average age of his Uma is gonna be between sixty to seventy years old, and not many who will go a little bit higher than that

• Right?),فكم سنة سيحاسب عليها العبد بين يدي الله عزو جل؟ How many years( you think) will you be held accountable in front of Allah Azza wa Jall? So, for us to know the value of thisدنيا،for us to know that a lot of us think thisدنياis of a great deal, and it is not

• الدنيا طويلة وهي They think it is too long while it is too short

• Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala says: ﴿قَـٰلَ كَمۡ لَبِثۡتُمۡ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ عَدَدَ سِنِینَ ۝١١٢ قَالُوا۟ لَبِثۡنَا یَوۡمًا أَوۡ بَعۡضَ یَوۡمࣲ فَسۡـَٔلِ ٱلۡعَاۤدِّینَ ۝١١٣﴾ [المؤمنون] In the day of Judgment when Allah starts to ask us how long we stayed in this 'dunia', the answer will be :Well , we stayed a day or part of a day

• So, we need to remember, on the way of Allahعزوجل 1-There are a lot of blessings on our way in our day( in every minute, in every second), there are a lot of blessings from Allah Azza wa Jall

• تفت فؤادك الأيام فتا وتنحت جسمك الساعات نحتاو تدعوك المنون دعاء صدقٍألا يا صاح أنت أريد أنت أراك تحب عرسا ذات خدرٍأبت طلاقها الأكياس بتاتنام الدهر ويحك في غطيطٍبها حتى إذا مت انتبهتThat's a sane saying: Days are going by and actually time is eating your life( basically taking away from your life) 'the time, the clock' ;and the caller for death has been calling for you (calling for you because you are awake)

• دنياYou are not setting your priorities straight ;you are just sleeping( in a deep sleep), and you are gonna be awake when you are about to die .

الدرس الحادي عشر :
Lesson 11
السَّلامُ عَلَيْكُم وَرَحمةُ الله وَبَرَكاته
إنّ الحمدَلله، نَحمَدُه ونَسْتَعينُهُ وَنَسْتَهديه وَنَسْتَغْفِرُه، وَنعوذُ بالله مِنْ شرور أنفُسِنا ومِنْ سَيّئات أَعمالِنا، من يهدِهِ الله فلا مُضِلَّ لَه، ومن يُضْلِلْ فلا هادِيَ له، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنْ لا إِلهَ إِلّا الله وحده لا شريك له، وأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عبدُهُ وَرَسولُه.
أَمّا بعد،
فإِنَّ أَصْدَقَ الحَديثِ كَلامُ الله، وخيرَ الهَدْيِ هَدْيِ مُحَمَّدٍ صلّى الله عليه وسلّم، وشَرُّ الأُمورِ مُحْدَثاتُها، وكُلَّ مُحْدَثَةٍ بِدْعَة، وكُلَّ بِدْعَةٍ ضلالَة، وكلّ ضلالَةٍ في النّار.
All thanks and praise are due to Allah SWT, we seek refuge in Allah from our bad deeds and our bad actions, the one whom Allah guides no one will misguide, the one who’s misguided no one will guide. I bear witness that there is no one worthy of worship but Allah SWT and that Mohammed صلى الله عليه وسلم (peace be upon him) is His messenger and slave.
Indeed, the best of the speech is the speech of the Quran, the best of the guidance is the guidance of Mohammed صلى الله عليه وسلم. The worst of the matters in our religion is innovations, each innovation can be a misguide, and each misguide can lead us to the hellfire والعِياذُ بالله.
اللّهمّ لك الحَمْدُ كما ينبغي لِجلالِ وجهِكَ وعظيمُ سُلْطانِك.
 
الدَّعوة الإِسلاميّة، وما أدراكَ ما الدَّعوة الإِسلاميّة؟!
The way to Allah Almighty, and what we know to help us in the way to Allah عز وجل.
Today إن شاء الله, we are going to cover something very important. As you know we live this life and at any given moment a news can come in the way that what we think it’s bad; everything that comes from Allah Almighty is good, but we could get a text message or we could get a call that some family member is in a very dangerous situation, in the hospital, in an accident, or lost a job or money; you name it. So, we live this life and we are just subjects that can come cross any of what we preceded as bad news.
Let’s give an example, one of the kings of this dunia came to you and said: “I will guarantee to you that if anything happens to you, you’re not going to have any fears or worries and you’re not going to be sad about it.” But nobody can guarantee that for us, except Allah عز وجل.
وهوَ مَلِك المُلوك، عزّ وجلّ.
 
We’ll go through few ayahs in the Quran and I hope that going through these ayahs will make you think deep about their Tafseer and their explanation and to be like the scholars of the Tafseer who lived it and tried to practice it in their life. Because when that happens the guarantee is coming from Allah Almighty. Whether we are, ولله الحمد, in the way to Allah, and these things always come handy because we are going to be tested in many different ways.
 
يقولُ الحقّ سبحانه وتعالى:
﴿إِنَّ الَّذينَ قالوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ استَقاموا تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَيهِمُ المَلائِكَةُ أَلّا تَخافوا وَلا تَحزَنوا وَأَبشِروا بِالجَنَّةِ الَّتي كُنتُم توعَدونَ (30) نَحنُ أَولِياؤُكُم فِي الحَياةِ الدُّنيا وَفِي الآخِرَةِ وَلَكُم فيها ما تَشتَهي أَنفُسُكُم وَلَكُم فيها ما تَدَّعونَ (31) نُزُلًا مِن غَفورٍ رَحيمٍ (32)﴾   [Fuṣṣilat: 30, 31, 32]
 
Allah SWT says in this ayah:
إِنَّ الَّذينَ قالوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ
“The ones who are going to say Allah is our lord.” Now you’re saying it with your tongue: “Allah is my Lord, Allah is my God,” but then He said:
ثُمَّ استَقاموا
“Then they are in the straight path to Allah عز وجل.” So, they say it by tongue while their actions reflect that they mean it.
When you say: “Allah is my Lord.” What does that mean?
I am a slave of Allah and when He orders me to do something, I will do it, and when Allah asks me to stay away from something, I will stay away from it. That’s sustained, but when you do that what’s going to happen? Here we go, the guarantee is coming:
-1تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَيهِمُ المَلائِكَةُ 
“The Angels will come down,” saying to these people:
-2أَلّا تَخافوا وَلا تَحزَنوا 
“You should not have any fear and you should not be sad or worried,” and on top of that:
-3وَأَبشِروا بِالجَنَّةِ الَّتي كُنتُم توعَدونَ  

They are going to give you the good news about the Jannah, the paradise.
-4نَحنُ أَولِياؤُكُم فِي الحَياةِ الدُّنيا 
“We are the ones who are going to protect you in this dunia and in the hereafter.” And you’ll get what you’re going to be happy with; and that is a promise from Allah Almighty.
 
So, the first guarantee here if you say: “Allah is my Lord” meaning you live on Islam and you live for Al Da’wa. So, you say Allah is my Lord and you stay on it, you walk on it, nothing takes you right or left, and you take the straight path to Allah the Almighty then the angels will come to you.
Some of the scholars said that the الملائكة (angels) will come down in the most difficult time and when you need them; and that is the time of death in which you will be very worried; “What is going to happen to me?” They will come and will give you the great news.
At the time of the grave, when you are so worried, then they will come and they will give you this news.
The time when everybody’s going to stand in front of Allah, and everybody’s worried, they will come and they will give you the good news. So, rest assured in any calamities or in anything that may come in your way, they will come for you to be calm because that’s the promise from Allah Almighty.
 
يقولُ الحقّ سبحانه وتعالى:
﴿إِنَّ الَّذينَ قالوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ استَقاموا فَلا خَوفٌ عَلَيهِم وَلا هُم يَحزَنونَ﴾   [Al-Aḥqāf: 13]
“The one who is going to say Allah is our Lord,” in a different ayah, same thing: “They stick on that road, there is no fear, no sadness, no worries.”
 
‏ويقول الحقّ سبحانه وتعالى:
﴿أَلا إِنَّ أَولِياءَ اللَّهِ لا خَوفٌ عَلَيهِم وَلا هُم يَحزَنونَ﴾     [Yūnus: 62]
“The أولياء (pious worshippers) of Allah should not be in the position of fear or sadness”, no matter what news comes in your way.
Who are the Awliya of Allah?
That’s between you and Allah عز وجل. As Allah knows what is in your heart, what level of Iman you’re going to reach with Allah عز وجل, and you will become a (Waliy). But that’s between you and Allah, so don’t be deceived with people coming and telling you: “Hey! This is a waliy of Awliya Allah! He’s walking on the water, and he is doing this and that, and people dance around him so he’s a waliy right now.”
This is all nonsense. We always look at the actions of an individual according to the Quran and the Sunnah, that’s according to Quran and the Sunnah and the understanding of the Sahabah and the first regeneration that the prophet Mohammed  صلى الله عليه وسلم  prays and told us that this is going to be the guide for you that even with that we don’t say a waliy of the Awliya Allah, but we say:
"الحمدُ لله"
May Allah give them thabat until the day they die.
 
‏ويقول الحقّ سبحانه وتعالى:
﴿ فَمَنِ اتَّقى وَأَصلَحَ فَلا خَوفٌ عَلَيهِم وَلا هُم يَحزَنونَ﴾     [Al-A‘rāf: 35]
“The one who’s going to fear Allah Almighty,” and on top of that
قَوْلٌ وَعَمَل
you say it by your tongue but you do actions too.
فَمَن اتَّقى
“The one who’s going to have fear of Allah عزوجل”
وَأَصْلَحْ
“And do good”
فَلا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلا هُمْ يَحْزَنون
“Shouldn’t have any fear or sadness.”
﴿ فَمَن آمَنَ وَأَصلَحَ فَلا خَوفٌ عَلَيهِم وَلا هُم يَحزَنونَ﴾    [Al-An‘ām: 48]
Allah SWT also said: “The one who’s going to believe and do good actions should not be in any fear or worry.”
All these ayahs, when you really understand it then when the calamity happens you will be surprised how calm you are! And that’s by the will of Allah عز وجل. You and I can say we are very strong, we can do it, but no, only with
توفيق من عند الله عزّ وجلّ
guidance from Allah SWT and the guarantee that He gave us we can rest assured that Allah will deliver. But we have to do our part, we have to say Allah is our Lord, we have to stay on that, we have to do our best to become among the Awliya of Allah Almighty, we have to have Taqwa in our hearts, we have to do the good actions according to get this Taqwa and we have to believe and make our actions in accordance to our belief in Allah عز وجل.
 
ويقول الحقّ سبحانه وتعالى:

﴿الَّذينَ يُنفِقونَ أَموالَهُم بِاللَّيلِ وَالنَّهارِ سِرًّا وَعَلانِيَةً فَلَهُم أَجرُهُم عِندَ رَبِّهِم وَلا خَوفٌ عَلَيهِم وَلا هُم يَحزَنونَ﴾
[Al-Baqarah: 274] 
“The one among us who spend their money at night and at the day time, in secret and in front of everybody to motivate others,” What’s the guarantee here? Allah says:
فَلَهُم أَجرُهُم عِندَ رَبِّهِم
“They have their reward in the side of Allah,” Which we don’t even know; a great reward that has not been mentioned.
وَلا خَوفٌ عَلَيهِم وَلا هُم يَحزَنونَ
“Also, there is no fear or sadness.” Subhan Allah.
A lot of us come across situations; you are in your community and you hear that this person needs help; you hear that your masjid needs help, or maybe you heard about this but, Subhan Allah, you’re dealing with Allah عز وجل and when you do that there is no fear or worry.
 
ويقول الحقّ سبحانه وتعالى:
﴿الَّذينَ يُنفِقونَ أَموالَهُم في سَبيلِ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ لا يُتبِعونَ ما أَنفَقوا مَنًّا وَلا أَذًى لَهُم أَجرُهُم عِندَ رَبِّهِم وَلا خَوفٌ عَلَيهِم وَلا هُم يَحزَنونَ﴾   [Al-Baqarah: 262]
The same thing: “The ones who spends the money for the sake of Allah Almighty and they are not going to follow this with arrogance or showing off,”
لا خوفٌ عليهم
they have the reward of Allah عز وجل, and also there is no fear on their end.
 
ويقول الحقّ سبحانه وتعالى:
﴿بَلى مَن أَسلَمَ وَجهَهُ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحسِنٌ فَلَهُ أَجرُهُ عِندَ رَبِّهِ وَلا خَوفٌ عَلَيهِم وَلا هُم يَحزَنونَ﴾ [Al-Baqarah: 112]
The one who’s أَسلَمَ وَجهَهُ, literally: “The one who’s going to give his face to Allah عز وجل,” meaning your whole life, your heart, your body, and everything is towards Allah Almighty and you follow what Allah asks you to follow.
فَلَهُ أَجرُهُ عِندَ رَبِّهِ وَلا خَوفٌ عَلَيهِم وَلا هُم يَحزَنونَ
“He’s going to get his reward in the side of Allah Almighty and also there is no fear or sadness in their life.”
 
 
ويقول الحقّ سبحانه وتعالى:
﴿ فَمَن تَبِعَ هُدايَ فَلا خَوفٌ عَلَيهِم وَلا هُم يَحزَنونَ﴾   [Al-Baqarah: 38]
“And the ones who is going to follow my guidance there is no خوف, fear nor sadness.”
 
So, if we understand that in the way to Allah عز وجل,
في طريق الدّعوة إلى الله عزّ وَجَلّ
we are going to face a lot of challenges and a lot of us can drop, you hear this word from a lot of people: “Why me? Why is this happening to me?”
But, we can always say: “Oh! You know if anything happened, I trust Allah عز وجل and it is my destiny.” We run from our destiny to our destiny, as Omar said.
“And you know, whatever is going to happen to us is going to happen to us and I trust Allah’s choice for me.” But it’s easier said than done. We can say it but at the time of the calamity, how are you going to react? How is your heart going to react?
Right, so you need to stick to the Quran and to the Sunnah. You need to reflect on the ayahs that we mentioned today, because when we practice these ayahs and when you put them to work, then when the time happens, you are going to see the promise from Allah Almighty in front of your eyes.
And no matter what news come in your way, you will feel the calm and the ease. And Allah will give you the calmness, الصبر, the patience, and everything else and that only comes from Allah عز وجل.
There is a promise from Allah عز وجل and there is a responsibility on our shoulder to do to get this promise from Allah Almighty. So, we ask Allah SWT that in the way to Him, living in Islam and believing that this is our way,
الدّعوة إلى الله عزّ وَجَلّ
to prepare and to steadfast on this road and not to drop or look back or complain that we need to understand and reflect on these several ayahs that we mentioned today from the Quran, that Allah عز وجل (the Almighty), not anybody else, is giving us a promise that we will live in this dunia with no fear or sadness.
We ask Allah SWT to benefit us from what we heard, and we ask Allah SWT that from what we learned we can put it to action, because our دين is قَوْلٌ وعمل. Our religion is that we hear and we say and we put it to action as well.
And we ask Allah الثبات (stability).

We ask Allah SWT to give us the الثبات and the steadfast on this way to Allah Almighty.
 
أَقولُ قَوْلي هذا وأسْتغفر الله لي وَلَكُم. وجزاكم الله خيرًا.
والسّلام عليكم ورحمة الله وَبَرَكاته
