• Lesson 12: Da’wa

• Misguide can lead us to the hellfire اللهم لك الحمد كما ينبغي لجلال وجهك وعظيم سلطانك

• ? How can we react to it?And this Ayah(سبحان الله)Allah Azza wa Jall says: 🌷{قُل لَّن يُصِيبَنَا إِلَّا مَا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَنَا هُوَ مَوْلَانَا ۚ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ}We think about this Ayah'قُل لَّن يُصِيبَنَا إِلَّا مَا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَنَا'Allah(سبحانه وتعالى)is telling Muhammad(ﷺ): to tell us {لَّن يُصِيبَنَا إِلَّا مَا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَنَا} Nothing is going to happen to us except what Allah(عز وجل)wrote for us; and indeed, He is our (Mawla), He is our Protector

• {لَنَا}When He says{قُل لَّن يُصِيبَنَا إِلَّا مَا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَنَا}This word(لَنَا)=((to usThis word reminds me with the hadithعن صُهَيْبِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ: "عَجَباً لأمْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِ إِنَّ أَمْرَهُ كُلَّهُ لَهُ خَيْرٌ، وَلَيْسَ ذَلِكَ لأِحَدٍ إِلاَّ للْمُؤْمِن: إِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ سَرَّاءُ شَكَرَ فَكَانَ خَيْراً لَهُ، وَإِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ ضَرَّاءُ صَبَرَ فَكَانَ خيْراً لَهُ

• (وَلَيْسَ ذَلِكَ لأِحَدٍ إِلاَّ للْمُؤْمِن)And that nobody will have this kind of reaction except for the believer

• (إِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ سَرَّاءُ شَكَرَ فَكَانَ خَيْراً لَهُ،)When something good happens, then he is going to thank Allah(سبحانه وتعالى),and this is good for him, for the believer

• (وَإِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ ضَرَّاءُ صَبَرَ فَكَانَ خيْراً لَهُ)And if something such as (tests come, a calamity comes), and he will be patient about it, then this is also good for him

• And another hadith, ( a part of a hadith):(أنَّ ما أصابَك لم يكُنْ لِيُخْطِئَك ، وما أخطَأَك لم يكُنْ لِيُصيبَك) Whatever is coming in your way is not going to miss you, and whatever is going to miss you is not going to come in your way

• The Shaitan (Satan himself) and the human devils,(شياطين الإنس والجن)The devils of the humans and the jinn will not going to leave you; your own(نفس)your own self, they will fightyou when you are on this way

• The Ayah says:{هُوَ مَوْلَانَا ۚ } =He is your Protector(سبحانه وتعالى)

• Knowing that in the other Ayah of Surat Al-Baqara’a, Allah(سبحانه وتعالى)Said:🌷{اللَّهُ وَلِيُّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا يُخْرِجُهُم مِّنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ ۖ } Allah(سبحانه وتعالى)وليHe is The Protector of the believers; He takes them from the darkness of everything to the light of Allah(عز وجل)His Islam]

• At the end of the Ayah Allah s (سبحانه وتعالى)said:🌷{وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّل ِالْمُؤْمِنُونَ} And indeed, if you understand the whole Ayah, you will know in the end who you are going to depend on, Allah(عز وجل)Nobody else

• So, when you think about the year of 2020 – what does this year mean to you? Think about it

• But when we look at the Ayat, and when we look at some reflections of the Qur’an and the Ahadith from the Sunnah, we will realize that Allah(إن شاء الله)will be our[ولي]

• Allah will be our Protector; so we must put ourتوكلand our trust only on Allah(عز وجل)

• We ask Allah(سبحانه وتعالى )to benefit us from what we heard, and to make us among the ones who listen, and put what we learn into action.

Questions:

1.How should it be the reaction toward good and bad matters in our life?

2.Who is the protector of the believers?

3.What should we do to have tawakul in our life?

السلام عليكم ورحمه الله وبركاته إن الحمد لله نحمده و نستعينه و نستهديه و نستغفره و نعوذ بالله من شرور أنفسنا و من سيئات أعمالنا من يهده الله فلا مضل له ومن يضلل فلا هادي له و أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له و أشهد أن محمدا عبده ورسوله بلغ الرسالة و أدى الأمانة و نصح الأمة و كشف الله به الغمة و جاهد في الله حق جهاده حتى أتاه اليقين ثم أما بعد فإن أصدق الحديث كلام الله و خير الهدي هدي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم و شر الأمور محدثاتها و كل محدثة بدعة و كل بدعه ضلالة و كل ضلالة في النار.

All thanks and praise due to Allah سبحانه وتعالى
we seek refuge with Allah from our bad deeds and our bad actions.
The one whom Allah guides no one will misguide, the one who's misguided no one will guide .And I bear witness there is no one worthy of worship but Allah
سبحانه وتعالى.
And Mohammed
صلى الله عليه وسلم
his messenger and slave.

Indeed the best of the speeches is the speech of the quran, the best of the guidance is the guidance of Mohammed
صلى الله عليه وسلم
The worst of the matters in our religion is the innovation , each innovation can be a misguide and each misguide can lead us to the hellfire والعياذ بالله.

اللهم لك الحمد كما ينبغي لجلال وجهك وعظيم سلطانك اللهم لك الحمد حمداً حمداً.

We'll continue our talk about the way to Allah
عز وجل , الدعوة الإسلامية
and if you notice that we're trying to grab as much as we can. In our heart in our backpack in our soul in our mind as much as we can to help us in the way to Allah
عز وجل.
While the situation can be normal to anyone of them and also when the situation becomes difficult and hard for some of us and these are really what each one of us want to prepare for.

So if we notice, we talk about different things but one of the main things that we also want to remember is the attachment to the masajed and the houses of Allah عز وجل.

If you see and if you experience a situation for someone lets say for example may be he gets sick , right , with something major and then this person compared to other person, this person is always attached to the masajed going there, praying with جماعة
knows there are lectures going on , so he likes to go there and listen. Some of the masajed might have the افطار
like Monday and Thursday , so he's there. If you compare that person to somebody else that hardly gets to the masjed maybe just for salat Al Gomoa
صلاة الجمعة
right , that's the only day he can go there and Allah knows best may be he's sleeping throughout the
خُطبة
or maybe playing with his phone which he is not supposed to do that, this invalidates this خطبة ,but over all you can see people their hearts are not really attached to the masajed , what happens when you get your heart attached to the masjed?

Number one: you will know another brothers , and for the sister too she will know another sisters , that their hearts will be attached to each other and they're going to love each other for the sake of Allah عز وجل
and this is something really really you cannot easily value, money wise or material things, very difficult to value because Allah
سبحانه وتعالى
mentioned in the quran

(وَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ ۚ لَوْ أَنفَقْتَ مَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا مَّآ أَلَّفْتَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَلَّفَ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ)
Allahسبحانه وتعالى
mentioned this aya
Allah is the one who puts the hearts together for one person to love another and Allah
سبحانه وتعالى
in this aya was referring to الأنصار و المهاجرين
you know at the time of
رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم
when sahaba left Mecca and went to Madina and then you know the أنصار
the helpers from the Madina they were waiting for them, shared everything with them, the love also between the
مهاجرين
and also between the
أنصار
among themselves and that's the love for the
دين.
So Allah mentioned this aya He's the one who puts this love in the hearts.

If you spent everything on the earth, right that's what Allah says in the quran you won't be able to get these hearts together which is true. How much money you can spend for somebody to love somebody else ? you can't. It's just something happens in the heart and by the will of Allah
عز وجل.
Alright , but Allah
سبحانه وتعالى
is the one who's capable of doing that. So that's something very important, huge in value , right. So when you start getting this heart attached to the masjed and eventually you'll know some brothers that also their hearts are attached to the masjed , now these are the brothers that are going to support you in the time of hardship in every way you look at it whether just with a phone call or maybe a text message or wanted to come and see you, want to offer help not necessarily financially even though financially whoever is capable of doing it will do it but it's just the love for the sake of Allah right, you need that in the way to Allah
عز وجل.
You need that in the
دعوة
to Allah because this is again in the hardship when you face a hardship you're not going to be like the other person who only goes to the masjed in
الجمعة
and he doesn't know people that he loves for the sake of Allah what's going to happen when they face a hardship, they're going to immediately think about everything he has. He's going to think about his business, he's going to think about his family, he's going to think about his money. He's going to start thinking about all that and he's going to say ok what's going to happen what's going to happen if something happened to me right compared to the other brother that who already knows people that love him only for the sake of Allah you can see that Allah will give him ease in the time when the hardship comes because he's going to be thinking like
الحمدلله
it's all good. I am in a good hand. I have some brothers who'll be taking care of things if there are any items need to be taken care of, right, and not even to be worried or his mind starts to think what these people would do, right, because again he gets to know them in the masajed and they build the love for the sake of Allah
عز وجل.
This is very important, right. And then when you really talk about the masajed, then you can see Allah
سبحانه وتعالى
the way he describes in the Quran Allah
سبحانه وتعالى
says ;

🌺
فِي بُيُوتٍ أَذِنَ اللَّهُ أَن تُرْفَعَ وَيُذْكَرَ فِيهَا اسْمُهُ (36)

Allah in the beginning he said in the houses of Allah
فى بيوت
these are the houses of Allah
عز وجل
Allah will give the permission that his name will be raised there and the
ذكر
of Allah
عز وجل
will be mentioned there. These are the houses of Allah.

يُسَبِّحُ لَهُ فِيهَا بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالْآصَالِ (36)

Indeed throughout the day the time people make
تسبيح
for Allah
عز وجل.
These are in the houses of Allahعز وجل
( رِجال)
See Allah
سبحانه وتعالى
describes the people who are in the masajed of Allah
عز وجل
and going to the
تسبيح
and the
تهليل
whatever is what ..
رجال من ؟
رِجَالٌ لَّا تُلْهِيهِمْ تِجَارَةٌ وَلَا بَيْعٌ عَن ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَإِقَامِ الصَّلَاةِ وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ ۙ يَخَافُونَ يَوْمًا تَتَقَلَّبُ فِيهِ الْقُلُوبُ وَالْأَبْصَارُ (37)

Indeed these men ;
تجارة
business anything other than Allah
عز وجل
is not going to take their minds away right , neither selling or anything it's not going to take their minds away from the
ذكر
of Allah
عز وجل
mention of Allah
عز وجل و إقام الصلاه
establishing the صلاة
the prayer , و إيتاء الزكاة
giving zakah, right. What these people (what's the fear that comes in these people's minds) ?

يَخَافُونَ يَوْمًا تَتَقَلَّبُ فِيهِ الْقُلُوبُ وَالْأَبْصَارُ


They really worry about that day they're going to be in the front of Allah
عز وجل
and they're going to be asked about their deeds, right. So this is one of the things that you can prepare yourself right , how you counter a hardship and how can you keep going in the way to Allah
عز وجل
right , with what we just mentioned is worth the heart. And you remember the hadeeth of
رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:
🌷 "سبعة يُظلهم الله بِظله يومَ لا ظِل إلا ظِلُه"
There are seven different categories of people that Allah will have them under his shadow when there is no shadow but the shadow of Allah
عز وجل
right , and among these right, a man his heart is attached to the masajed
"رجلٌ قلبُهُ مُعلقٌ بالمساجد"
somebody whose heart is attached to the masajed and among these seven two people they love each other for the sake of Allah
عز وجل
they meet for that and they finish their meeting on that too right ,with the love of Allah
عز وجل.
Two out of these seven
سبحان الله
and these are one of the subjects we talk about today so that in my way to Allah الدعوة الإسلامية
I am thinking about what can keep me going , what can in the ease time and in the hardship, what can always keep me going in this way to Allah
عز وجل.
I am getting my heart attached to el masajed, get used to look for the masajed that you can find out
ما شاء الله
a lot of activities going on, a lot of lectures going on. These masajed are only they only care about what Allah
عز وجل
says and what his messenger says you can see they follow the sunnah right, they follow the practice of
رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم
You can see , you can feel it also , you can feel when you walk into these masajed and we don't want to be full of buildings right , it's very easy to build a building right, but it's very hard to build the hearts of the people that's very hard. So if we think about masajed that they follow the Quran and the sunnah that they are in the
نهج رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم
the way of
رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم
we're definitely going to see some good brothers, good sisters in these masajed they're trying to follow that right , and that the more you get to the masjed, the more you spend time in the masjed, the more you pray in جماعة
the more you can establish whatever is good in the community that they want , then your heart gets attached to the masjed number one , number two you also have this value relationship that is the love for the sake of Allah
عز وجل
and with these two are happening , then you are in the right path to Allah
عز وجل
and when you get a calamity or a test with whatever it is whether health, business, loss of a close one in family, you're going to see the entire masjed making دعاءfor you, What would you get is that if you will decide to go in the other round just go to the masjed, pray جمعة
or maybe just go there in the eid عيد right , a lot of people are like that unfortunately a lot of muslims like that, they only go to the masajed in
صلاة العيد.

That's it right , and جمعة
sometimes they want to come to the جمعة and they rush too سبحان الله

These are the houses of Allah .
where you're going to feel more comfortable and more ease other than the houses of Allah ! Where?
Not even your own house, not your family's house, not your friend's house, not anywhere except in the houses of Allah عز وجل
So if we get today out of today's talk the most important things are two things ; we can build in the way to Allah عز وجل
طريق الدعوة الإسلامية
we built to get these hearts attached to the masajed, the masajed that follow the quran and the sunnah and in these masajed you'll find the hearts of the brothers that they care about the
دين
and the religion and they want to be part of whatever they can do right , to help their masjed, their communities , whatever. By establishing these things we're going to be ready as we mentioned in the ease time or in the hardship to fight any calamity right, as I said it again and I am giving example if somebody gets sick, went to the hospital right, he's never been in the masajed right and somebody else is always attached to the masajed you're going to find these masajed are always making دعاء
for him, maybe after
جمعة
too , mention his name ,
دعاء
right , even though if there's a school there whether a part time school or a full time islamic school and they know that person you're going to see maybe the kids and
سبحان الله
when the kids making
دعاء
for you right you can see the kids making دعاء
right , compared to somebody that doesn't go to masajed. Who's going to ask for him ? may be yes his family members maybe friends maybe partners in life but for how long? For how long? Because everybody gets busy in the دنيا
right , for how long? they're going to send a message one day, maybe a message the next day and then after that they get busy and you can see it, you know , we experience that with very close friends and you can see it the people who are attached to masajed they keep getting these from the brothers that they love them for the sake of Allah every day they ask about them, every day they see if you need anything, if your family needs anything, is your business okay, is this it's not just an offer it's really people want to step up and do what they have to do for their brothers that the one they love for the sake of Allah or for their sisters right , sisters for sisters. We ask Allah
سبحانه وتعالى
to benefit from what we heard and we ask Allah
سبحانه وتعالى
to make our hearts attached to the masajed and we love each other for the sake of Allah.
أقول قولي هذا وأستغفر الله لي ولكم والسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته...
