Hezbollah supporters refer to him as Commander Haj Abu Jihad – it is evident that he holds a senior status (and a “special packaging,” as can be seen in the attached photo).
His brother, Radwan Karaki, who was also a commander in Hezbollah, was eliminated a little less than a year ago, on 7.11.24

"The Wandering Dead" of the Shuheibar Clan in Gaza
About 100 bodies of Gazans from the Shuheibar clan were transferred today in a large operation from temporary burial sites in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City to a "closer to home" burial site in the Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City.
Following the ceasefire, quite a few dead have begun to be moved in Gaza from temporary graves to "permanent burial."

Earlier today (Friday), the IDF, led by the Northern Command, attacked using an Air Force aircraft in the Nabatieh area in southern Lebanon, and eliminated the terrorist Abbas Hassan Karaki, the logistics commander of the 'Southern Front' headquarters in the Hezbollah terrorist organization.

Even though it was a busy trip, I managed to make two personal stops. First, the City of David is one of the wonders of world archaeology, and although most of it is still closed to the public, they plan to open it soon. It's amazing to realize that you are walking on a path that Jesus himself walked 2,000 years ago. The people who worked to excavate and preserve this place are incredible human beings, and I am grateful to them, especially to my kind tour guides! Second, I have already posted about the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, but it bears repeating: it is the most amazing place I have ever been.
I encourage all of you to continue praying for peace!

The American diplomat Steven Fagin, the U.S. Ambassador to Yemen, will be appointed to head the Civil-Military Coordination Center established in Kiryat Gat to monitor the implementation of the ceasefire in Gaza.
