When he did marry, he married a woman fifteen years his senior who had two previous husbands. She also had children from these marriages.

He stayed with her until she died, for 25 years, without having any other wives or a concubine. At this point he was much older, being 50 years old.

After becoming the head of the Muslims, his next wife was Sawda, a widow. He married her to safeguard and protect her.

His only virgin wife was A'isha. All of his other wives were widows or divorcees.

[Summarized from Shaykh Dr. Hassan b. 'Ali al-Kettani's Commentary on Qurra al-Absar]
The Catholic Church is completely collapsing under the blows of secularism, and is increasingly distorting the book and escaping from the truth, and there is no refuge for humanity except Islam

تهنئة النصارى بـ(الكريسماس) لا تجوز باتفاق المذاهب الأربعة، ولا أعلم قولاً مخالفاً في هذه المسألة إلا في الزمن المتأخر وهي أقوال لا يعتد بها.

Congratulating the Christians on (Christmas) is not permissible according to the consensus of the four schools of thought, and I do not know of an opinion contrary to this issue except in the later period, and they are not reliable.

Recently, on the eleventh of December, 2021, an EF4 Tornado rolled through southern Kentucky, killing fifteen people, wounding many others, and destroying property. Three Masajid are present in the area, the Islamic Center of Bowling Green, the Bosnian Islamic Center, and Masjidul Dawah. Although these Masajid weren’t damaged during the storm, many Muslim families were affected, losing their homes and livelihoods as result of the tornado. On top of that, from the death total of fifteen, five Bosnian Muslims were killed. May Allah تعالى have mercy on them and be pleased with them.

A trusted charity has been set up to assist the victims of this calamity, operated by brother Muamer Sljivic. Their goal is to raise $30,000; and they’re just over half way to that goal. A link will be provided below.

Ibn Habīb al-Ilbīrī al-Qurtubī [d. 238 H.], the Imām and Andalusian Mālikī Faqīh, who was born during Imām Mālik’s life, said:

“Do you not see that it is not permissible for the Muslims to sell to the Christians anything that has to do with their festivals, whether it be meat, condiments or clothing; they should not lend them mounts or help them in any part of their festivals, because that is like venerating their shirk and helping them in their kufr. The authorities should forbid the Muslims to do that. This is the view of Mālik and others, and I do not know of anyone who disagreed with that.”

Salam’ulaikum, sheikh yesterday we lost one of our elderly scholars in Nigerian from Kano. He was a muhaddith, he finished teaching the 6 books of Hadith and he was teaching the sharhus sunnah of albaghawy before his death. He was the student of notable figures like sh hamada al ansari and sh muhammad Amin alshanqiti and many more. In Shaa Allah help us make dua for him. His presence, knowledge and wisdom will certainly be missed

From shaykh Dr. Al-Kettani's dawrah on Imam Nawawi's 40 Hadith,

البدعة طريقة ملتزمة، وأن المقصود من السلوك عليها مضاهاة الطريقة الشرعية

"Heresy [Bidd'ah] is: a ritually performed path which is intended to be tread for the same purpose of the Revealed path."

- Abu Is'haq al-Shatibi in al-I'tisam
Ibnul Qayyim, in "Madarij Al-Salikeen", mentioned 10 points on the way we can achieve the love of Allah:

1- Reading the Qur'an with reflection, and understanding its meanings.

2- To come close to Allah with voluntary acts after the compulsory acts are complete (this will get you to a level Allah loves you an it will make the fardh ibadah easier for you).

3- To consistently remember Allah in every condition with your heart, tongue, and actions.

4- To prefer what Allah loves over what you love when your desires come into place.

5- To allow the heart to know the names and attributes of Allah, as once the heart knows, it will have an attachment to Allah.

6- To witness the blessings of goodness of Allah (SWT)- that is why we are told to reflect; we should be thankful for everything.

7- To humble yourself and your heart completely towards Allah (SWT) (i.e. to cry and beg Allah at a time where no one else is around.)

8-To go into seclusion during the time Allah descends (last third of the night).

9- To sit with the righteous/truthful ones who love Allah (SWT), and to take the fruits from their speech.

10- To stay away from everything which can come in-between you and Allah (SWT) (i.e. certain people or gatherings, ect, ect, ect.).

The conclusion of all this is to work on your soul and to open your eyes with the intention to see the truth and reflect.
