The online 'spat' between Trump and Elon is obviously theatre and people should not take these things at face value.

Land expropriation in South Africa is for the UN's Sustainable Development agenda.

Land will be taken to develop and connect solar/wind farms—which are far away from the grid—to Eskom's central grid, and to phase out coal.

I am fascinated by some of the replies.

There are people who actually make the following arguments, defending bullfighting:

- it’s an old custom, so therefore it’s fine
- bulls would die out otherwise
- if you aren’t Spanish, shut up
- some people eat the meat

All of these are stupid arguments.

All of these defend torture.

All of these are morally bankrupt arguments.

It’s odd to me how desperate some are to defend hurting an animal for entertainment.
